PAUL RUDD WILL LOVINGLY HATE IN "THEY CAME TOGETHER"! BRENDAN FRASER, EVA LONGORIA, SARAH JESSICA PARKER ARE "MARRIED AND CHEATING"! LOGAN MARSHALL GREEN IS TENNESSEE WILLIAMS IN "LONELY HUNTER"

That Paul Rudd is on fire these days, he again has a new project: "Variety" writes today that he and Amy Poehler will take the lead roles
in romantic comedy THEY CAME TOGETHER. It will be a story about Joel and Molly, two big city individuals who fall in hate at first sight. He is a big time corporate manager who threatens to tear down her small knick-knack shop. Taking a page directly from "You've Got Mail", the two begin an off-again, on-again romance that brings in all the classic staples of the rom-com genre. The film will probably get a release date sometime next year, when we shall also watch Rudd in LUCKY DOG where he and Paul Giamatti play two French Canadian Christmas tree salesmen who travel to New York to sell trees. Later this December we shall watch him going through chaos of entering the middle age in THIS IS 40 for which you saw the trailer a few days ago.
HOLLYWOOD SPY HEADLINES
For some reason biopics on last century American writers  are very in currently in Hollywood, and now it seems we will have a new one to add
to that list: hunky Logan Marshall Green, who probably caught your attention in the trailers for one of this summer's most anticipated sf films PROMETHEUS and who looks exactly like Tom Hardy, will portray famous American writers Tennessee Williams in LONELY HUNTER, which will actually tell the story of another American author Carson McCullers, famous for her novel "The Heart is A Lonely Hunter"and for hanging around big writers such as Tennessee Williams and Capote. Like most other American writers of that era, she too had a chaotic life spiced with a lot of alcohol abuse and suicidal love relationships. Jena Malone will play Carson.

Another interesting romantic flick has added some new cast members according to "Variety": Brendan Fraser, gorgeous Eva Longoria, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kiefer Sutherland will star together in MARRIED AND CHEATING. The film will tell a number of individual stories, each
focusing on one of the three different couples. Their stories will interconnect during a long weekend in New York and Paris with infidelity being the one thing they all have in common. Speaking of Brendan Fraser, his future projects include WILLEM TELL, epic adventure on famous apple shooting Swiss hero, and ESCAPE FROM PLANET EARTH, an animated family comedy about a prison break from Area 51, a mysterious government facility where the inmates are a ragtag group of imprisoned aliens from around the universe. He will go more serious in GIMME SHELTER where Vanessa Hudgens will play his teenage daughter whom he, as a rich Wall Street businessman, kicks out on the street when he finds out she's pregnant.

  2. BOOOO! Stupid Kiefer and stupid Fox not agreeing on a 24 movie so now we get that? Geez. If you can use your special powers to get a 24 movie made the cat will write a love letter to the alliance? No poo or rears in sight either.

Escape from planet earth sounds like it might be fun, although at first I thought you were going to say it was the third sequel in the snake plisken movies, as that was supposed to be titled escape from earth.

Those french canadians are going to seel trees in NY? Don't trust the french, ever..lol..almost always enjoy Rudd, as said, he makes good movies.

    3. We've always trashed the French darling. We do it because they trash everybody else and they have no style anymore.

I've watched PLANET 51 recently and it wasn't the best of films, but wasn't overly bad either.

  3. I will be intrigued to see how French Canadians are portrayed in Lucky Dogs. So will the entire province of Quebec, I'm sure.

Lonely Hunter sounds great! I like all those poor/tortured/closeted American writers.

  4. Ha! That's a great picture of Rudd. I love how the sheet still has all the lines in it from being folded up. And I think his toe nails are even painted red. Hilarious.

It's a pose to rival the Lucy Lawless one, when she was photographed in the red table cloth. :P

  5. How old is that guy Rudd? I remember him from a long time ago. Oh well, he's a great actor--funny-- and so to watch him in various films never hurts.

  7. Yay for more Paul Rudd!
And is Brendan Fraser old enough to be Vanessa's dad? Maybe so! I was worried when I saw their names that they would be a couple in a movie, so glad to hear they are not!

  13. I don't like these movies of marital infidelity and I don't like novels about it either. It just promotes the worst behavior in people. I'm not being unfaithful when I look at that pic of Brendan and drool. I'm committing a sin, but only the sin of coveting that lovely flesh and I can confess that one away quite easily.

Still waiting for the phone to ring and I can't sleep, so I'm stopping to see a few familiar faces and places.

    1. I don't like infidelity either, but I do like to see some of such films since they can be interesting in psychological sense, like why does it happen, what leads to it? The picture is never black and white. Almost never.

I shall try to put droolworthy pics for you here in the upcoming days, dear, so that you can relax when you come here... And I'm keeping fingers crossed for everything to go in the best possible way.

    1. not really, Melsy, I find most writers drug or booze junkies and freaks :) But it is interesting reading about their lives. However, whenever I read about their lives I get a notion that you have to be crazy and nuts in order to be a legendary writer.
Glad you like the photo :)
