THE PLAGUE (La Peste) will start airing November 15th on
Movistar, and if I'm not mistaken the first season aired both on BBC and Amazon, so I'm sure the new one will be distributed around the world as well set in the 16th century Seville after an outbreak of the bubonic plague. The new season will also have special airing tomorrow at this year's
Mipcom in Cannes.

advantage of the influx of local wealth and the inability of politicians

The posters look cool!☺
ReplyDeleteTotally!
DeleteI had the plague once. That was a bitch.
ReplyDeleteHope they did not cover you with poop to cure you, because that was one of the methods back in the good old days...
DeleteThis definitely looks like something I would watch. I hope you're right, and that it hits Amazon Prime so that I can see it. Do you know if it's in English? While my Spanish is OK, I'm not sure if I could translate quick enough to watch an entire show.
ReplyDeleteI think the first season was on Amazon with English subs. Cathedral del Mar too.
DeleteWith the rise of the anti-vaccers, how soon do too think we’ll have another outbreak of an infectious disease that wipes out masses of people?
ReplyDeleteHope it wipes out them not the innocent ones :(
DeleteSadly, it will probably wipe out the immunocompromised, like myself, first. I was terrified I was going to catch the measles when we were in New York. Thankfully, I just got a nasty, long lasting cough that took a heavy round of steroids to knock out, but it could have been much worse.
Deletelol, just reading my original comment. Another round of late night ipad typing and not reading what I wrote. I am an anti vaccer if that means I hate vacuuming. Those anti-vaxxers are shunning meds that most people in impoverished countries would kill for. I just don't get the mentality of some people.
DeleteI understand some of our antivaxers as some of the vaccines they give our babies here are not given in most of the Europe and are possibly dangerous, but they do it just to steal money, I guess. But I'm not against vaccination for big illnesses, of course.
DeletePS have you tried this new Blogger, says TRY THE NEW BLOGGER in the left bottom corner of our dashboards? Appeared today, I don't wanna try it :)
New blogger? Da hell? It's not showing on my dashboard. I'll be scared to try it too, though I'm sure they'll force us all to switch in due time.
DeleteMaybe I'm special and they are giving it only to me :))) It is still in my dashboard. I still hate the new Twitter, does not have half of the things it had before.
DeleteI agree. New Twitter sucks. Pinterest made some changes to the business analytics that piss me off. I do not like their changes at all. I was able to switch to the old dashboard up until about a month ago, but they've forced the new layout on us and scrapped the old one indefinitely now. Why can't the powers that be just leave well enough alone?
DeleteI've checked it out, they just changed our comments, theme and stats fields at the dashboard, nothing special. The thing I hate most about new Twitter is that when somebody replies to a tweet of yours you don't see which tweet they are referring to! We had the thread of tweets before, now nothing, you have to guess what somebody is writing you about. And I haven't noticed a single better change.
DeleteI hate that too! Another thing is I have to put #ad on my initial tweet when I'm working with a company, and if I reply to a comment on that tweet, some of my partner's systems flag it as not FTC compliant. I have to then waste time going back and telling them yes it is. My replies do not have to state it is an AD every time I reply as long as the original tweet has it. It's seriously ridiculous!
DeleteThe comments section here is now horrible, you have to erase or delete each comment individually while before you were able to click ten comments, mark them and then hit delete. I had to spend five minutes this morning deleting just six spam comments! Why on Earth would they change the easier option????
DeleteWhat a load of crap!
DeleteIt is unbelievably annoying! They literally made it more difficult to fight spam!
