Disney has launched the first trailer and poster for a movie that will possibly be one of next summer's biggest hits: JUNGLE CRUISE with
Jungle Cruise starts July 24th next year
Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt. Inspired by the famous Disneyland theme park ride, Disney’s JUNGLE CRUISE is an adventure filled, Amazon jungle expedition starring Dwayne Johnson as the charismatic riverboat captain and Emily Blunt as Lily Houghton, a determined explorer on a research mission. She is trying to find a tree that has healing powers. Also starring in the film are Edgar Ramirez (as the main villain at least judging by the trailer), Jack Whitehall (as her brother McGregor), with Jesse Plemons, and Paul Giamatti. The sail starts July 24th, 2020! This is both Dwayne's and Emily's fourth movie for Disney.

    I've been to Disney 3 times and have never went on the Jungle Cruise. I think I need to plan another vacay there to get all caught up ;) We do love Dwayne and Emily, so I'm excited to see those two working together!

      The trailer looks much better than I expected from this film, looks like old school family adventure, something today's Hollywood overobssessed with darkness and gore does not do any more.

      On our last Disney trip we made a point of going on it because I swear I didn’t even know it was there! Let’s just say it wasn’t too memorable other than when my husband got in trouble for exiting the boat incorrectly. :)

      How the heck do you exit the boat incorrectly? Isn't there someone there guiding you on and off the boat? Sounds like a failure on Disney's part to me.

      In Disney's defense, it was his fault. There were (2) doors on the boat. One for an entrance and the other for an exit. My husband didn't listen to the directions and exited the entrance. It was quite the non-catastrophe.

    I’m really looking forward to this one! Emily Blunt is one of my favorite and actresses and I do love me some of The Rock. ;)
