Famous YA writer Patrick Ness is set to pen the script for DALLERGUT DREAM DEPART- MENT STORE movie version of Miye Lee's hit book. It follows Penny, who has just landed her dream job — selling dreams to customers at the legendary Dallergut Dream Department Store. But when strange, dangerous things begin to happen to the sleeping clientele, Penny must uncover the mystery before the nightmare spreads beyond the store.

Disney Plus and Hulu are all ready to release the second season of their popular, super juicy and irreverent soapy series RIVALS which will arrive next week May 15th with first six episodes, with other six arriving on some later date and today we have the fun character posters to celebrate the incoming release. The series is based on a book by Dame Jilly Cooper.

WHAT IS THE STORY? 

It follows David  Tennant as an owner of a British TV station in the 80s and Aidan Turner as a TV host who forms a rival station with politician and sports star played by Alex Hassell. Filled with scandals, treachery, nudity and sex romp, the series was a huge hit. The second season will have even more wit, desire, and jaw-dropping twists. Power struggles intensify, rivalries deepen and ambition pushes loyalties to the brink. Set in the stunning Cotswolds countryside and against the backdrop of the glamorous, high-stakes world of 1980s British television, the second instalment reunites the all-star cast who captivated fans and critics, while introducing some exciting new faces. Following last season’s dramatic cliffhanger with Tony’s fate hanging in the balance, Lord Baddingham is back and out for vengeance ready to stop at nothing to keep Corinium’s empire unrivalled.  

WHO IS JOINING THE CAST? 

Joining the regular cast in the second season is Hayley Atwell who will portray Helen Gordon, the ex-wife of Rupert Campbell-Black and mother to his children Marcus and Tabitha. Rupert Everett will be Malise Gordon, her husband and Campbell-Black’s former show-jumping coach and mentor. Maxim Ays, Holly Cattle, Oliver Dench, Amanda Lawrence, Bobby Lockwood, Eliot Salt, and Jonny Weldon are also the new faces in the cast.

Ned Dennehy and Catherine McCormack join the cast as Bull Jeremy and Sophie Lyons, with Daniel Mays and Jason Tobin returning from the first season. The series, which has had two books so far, takes place in the world of Gilmouria Archipelago. Christopher is a human boy who stumbles into the hidden entrance to the magical world while spending the holiday with his grandfather in the Scottish Highlands. He soon meets Mal, a girl from this hidden world of magical creatures, and together they attempt to save the creatures that are suffering from a decline in the magical force that keeps them alive and vibrant.

Set in a quaint New England colonial town, formerly knows as Ally and Andi, follows bestselling novelist (Shields) who forms an unlikely alliance with Andi, an aspiring writer and podcaster (Williamson) to find the killer of a close friend. Hulu has released a trailer and start date for their new mini series THE TWISTED TALE OF AMANDA KNOX which starts August 20th. The series, which will open with two episodes and then stream weekly on Disney Plus and Hulu, stars Grace Van Patten, Sharon Horgan, John Hoogenakker, Francesco Acquaroli, Giuseppe De Domenico and Roberta Mattei. It is a limited series inspired by the story of how Amanda Knox was wrongfully convicted for the tragic murder of her roommate, Meredith Kercher, and her 16-year odyssey to set herself free. She spent almost 4 years incarcerated in Italy after a wrongful murder conviction.

THE STORY OF RIVALS
