  2. A volte degli incontri inaspettati, riescono a mettere in discussione i nostri principi, che fino a prima consideravamo non variabili. Un film da non perdere.
    Buon mercoledì

    1. The book was very boring, hope the film will be better.

  3. M. Night Shyamalan always manages to surprise me, sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse, but he rarely leaves me indifferent. That alone makes me curious about Remain. The combination of Shyamalan and Nicholas Sparks feels unexpected, and Jake Gyllenhaal has exactly the kind of intensity that can make this sort of story convincing. I think much will depend on the chemistry between him and Phoebe Dynevor, because if that does not work, not even the cleverest Shyamalan twist will save the film. I will give it a chance. Besides, falling in love with a ghost has one obvious advantage: she can disappear in the middle of an argument without even slamming the door. A big hug.

    1. The pair did not have any chemistry in the book itself, so hoping the film will be better, apparently Sparks and Shy came up with the story together, but Sparks developed it into is own version in the book, and Shy into his own version in the film and they will not have the identical plot and ending, it seems. Returning the hug.
