ITV has released a trailer for their new TV series THE ADULTERY in which Dominic Cooper plays Tom opposite Romola Garai’s
Beth, two people who share an immediate, intense connection. The show
first introduces
the audience to Tom’s 15-year-old daughter Jess who has
found love with schoolmate Ollie, and they can’t take their hands off
one another,
as love’s young
dream becomes all consuming. When Tom meets Beth in the most unexpected
of circumstances, the two families’ lives are potentially
turned upside
down forever. The series raises questions about class, grief and the effects of social media, as it takes the viewer on a rollercoaster story of
passion, parenthood and peril, as Tom and Beth embark upon a passionate and intense love affair that threatens to uproot their whole lives. Shelley
Conn stars as Tom’s wife Hannah, and Matthew McNulty as Beth’s husband Neil, with Johnny Sanpher and Leila Khan as the teenage lovers. The six part series was shot back in April and will air on ITV this October.
