According to Deadline, Netflix and director Phil Barantini are looking to make an epic movie on Antarctic explorer ERNEST SHACKLETON. The Irish explorer Shackleton was well known for his death defying attempts to sail farthest to the South Pole. That led to the 1914 Trans Antarctic Expedition aboard The Endurance, and the harrowing lifeboat journey to bring rescue to a crew that was stranded when the ship was crushed by ice. Waiting and hoping was a crew that abandoned the ship and was forced to survive for months on ice floes. Shackleton managed to get the crew home in entirety, not suffering a single fatality.

Although I cannot say that I liked the first season, MGM Plus has renewed their ROBIN HOOD epic series for season two which has started production in Serbia and has added James Purefoy, Colin O'Donoghue and Luke Roberts to the cast in the royal roles as the new season will see the arrival of King Henry (Purefoy), Prince Richard (O’Donoghue) and the ambitious Amaury D’Montfort (Roberts), who will reshape the political landscape, forcing Rob and his allies to navigate shifting loyalties, royal power struggles and dangerous new threats. In the new season we will visit the treacherous courts of England, France, and Rome, with the outlaw rebellion transformed into a high stakes battle for the soul of a kingdom. As the Angevin empire threatens to tear itself apart, Rob and Marian are drawn into the orbit of kings and queens, forced to wield the very instruments of Norman power to secure a future for the Saxons.
