Dar Zuzovsky takes the lead role in the film

Two  years ago I told you first about this one and then I showed you first photos from Dutch director Michiel Van Erp costume movie drama A BEAUTIFUL IMPER- FECTION about Casanova and one of the women he loved. Now we have the first poster for the movie that does not have a release date nor a trailer yet.  With Jonah Hauer King and Dar Zuzovsky in the lead roles, the cast will also have Aneurin Barnard and Sam Hazeldine.  I am hoping we will get a trailer or at least a teaser soon, but until then you can enjoy the poster and the first images from this costume drama.

 

 WHAT IS THE STORY?

Based on the novel In Lucia’s Eyes by Arthur Japin, which has been sold in millions of copies around the world, it follows the love affair between notorious adventurer and womanizer Casanova and a girl who becomes disfigured by smallpox and flees Italy for Amsterdam. Sixteen years later, they meet again when she has reinvented herself as a mysterious veiled courtesan now known by the name of Galathée. Without revealing her true identity or showing her face, Lucia and Giacomo become lovers once again. Will Lucia dare to reveal herself and turn her weakness into her strength so that she can be truly free in the eyes of her great love?

We have been waiting for this one for years now, but now Apple TV Plus has finally decided to bring us their high end World War II series MASTERS OF THE AIR which is a continuation of the legendary award winning Band of Brothers saga. This time it will be the story of the pilots who had to become masters of the air in order to defeat the enemy planes. Produced again by Steven Spielberg the series will launch January 26th opening the TV season of the new 2024 with two episodes with the rest  of the nine part season streaming weekly till mid March! THE STORY OF THE MASTERS OF THE AIR SERIES FOLLOWS

Portraying the psychological and emotional price paid by these young men as they helped destroy the horror of Hitler’s Third Reich, is at the heart of Masters of the Air. Some were shot down and captured; some were wounded or killed. And some were lucky enough to make it home. Regardless of individual fate, a toll was exacted on them all. Miramax TV has cast Daisy Ridley in their new TV series THE CHRISTIE AFFAIR an adaptation of Nina de Gramont's murder mystery novel about the time when the famous detective novel writer Agatha Christie disappeared for two weeks. In 1926, when her husband’s affair became public, Agatha Christie vanished for eleven days. In this reimagining, told through the eyes of her husband’s mistress Nan O’Dea (Daisy Ridley), Nan and Agatha become entwined in each other’s lives in ways neither expected. 

 THE RINGS OF POWER SERIES 

SAM HAZELDINE REPLACES JOSEPH MAWLE IN SEASON 2

After the first season broke all records scoring astounding 100 million viewers from all corners of the world, the most expensive series ever and the most beautiful one of the year behind us THE RINGS OF POWER is preparing the second season and they have now replaced Joseph Mawle in the role of evil Orc leader Adar with Sam Hazeldine. The reasons are not known, but Mawle did not take part in promotional activities for the first season either. New faces joining the second season in undisclosed roles also include Gabriel Akuwudike, Yasen ‘Zates’ Atour, Ben Daniels, newcomer Amelia Kenworthy, Nia Towle, and Nicholas Woodeson! The show set thousands of years before the events from the Lord of the Rings movies, should, hopefully, return sometime next year.
