TO LEAD BARBARIC EPIC TV SERIES
After scoring a Golden Globe nomination for Daisy Jones and the Six and leading upcoming new Count of Monte Cristo series, our dearest Sam Claflin is set to lead and produce BARBARIC epic TV series over at Netflix based on a popular comic book from 2021 as Deadline reports. With Michael Bay
as the possible director, the series is described as a mix of Deadpool and Game of Thrones as it mixes violence and humor in a similar way. Set in a Medieval fantasy world, the series chronicles the journey of Owen (Sam Claflin), a barbarian cursed to do the right thing, and his talking (and horny) axe (to be voiced by no other but Patrick Stewart) as they unite to take on a great evil.

A talking horny axe. Well, I've heard it all now. I probably would have skipped this, but Sam intrigues me, so I might have to give it a chance. Hope the humor isn't twisted and crude.

We like Patrick Stewart..Captain Picard is still one of my favourite role. p.s Hope the weather condition there gets better there...43C degrees will probably kill me. DeleteNo respite for us over here, we will be over 40C every day till the end of the month, it is 31 already in the morning when you wake up and cannot even open windows. It is living hell, I could not even sleep well tonight because it did not drop below 28C.
