    1. I had an idea of a food blog before, but in the meantime so many YouTubers have arrived with their professional equipment and whatnot that I feel the cooking blogs are more or less dead, plus I barely have the time for this blog with all my work and house chores. But you can find my recipes at my private Facebook profile if you ever decide to ad me there :) I often publish glufree recipes there and have an album with my tortes.

  3. I agree with Angie, the actors are lovely to look at. We will not get this here, but I hope it is a success for them.
I agree with you that food blogs are definitely dying, but not dead. I do not like to watch YouTube for recipes, but I know that was popular for a few years. If I need a recipe, I look it up on Pinterest then get directed to the written version on food blogs, so I am glad that people are still sharing their recipes on the platform.

    1. YouTube is still the main source as it is easier to watch a 3 minute clip with a recipe than read a whole post LOL I do watch them as YouTube keeps putting glufree ones in my sidebar there, and I did discover many good ones there, but it pisses me off when they start chopping and cutting veggies for ten minutes instead of jumping straight to the main thing and also when in the middle of the recipe they put something I don't use. There is a woman called Zara whom I follow there, often has lovely glufree ones, but also has obsession with maple syrup and cottage cheese which I don't use. So I usually stick to my good old Recitas de Gri, she is free of everything LOL Some of those channels showed me how to easily make a veggie salami, veggie nuggets like the real thing.

    2. I admit that I can get sucked into a few food videos here and there, but usually on Tik Tok. It's a good way to grab a base recipe and jump with your own ideas from there. It sounds like you've found some good food content creators on YouTube though! I never have made veggie salami, but veggie chicken I have a great recipe for that matches Chick fil A's chicken sandwiches. Even Jason likes them. I use maple syrup sparingly and hardly ever cook with the cottage cheese. That's a bit weird one would use those ingredients often, but if it works for her, great.

    3. I don't have a TikTok, did it help you in your sales?

Salami is made from ground cashews and seasonings in which you ad a few spoons of agar agar boiled in some water, that thickens it after it cools and makes it puddingy and thick like the real salami, and if you ad some beet juice in it it will have that rosy colour as well. Nuggets are made from soaked sunflower and seasonings which are then blended and cooked until they turn into something very thick that you can cut into nuggets, bread and even freeze for later frying. There are even recipes for veggies wieners for hot dogs. I sadly do not have time to make any of that shit, but I would love to because my food is very sparse and needs an occasional update or refreshment.

    4. No, it didn't help with sales because you need 1000 followers to get a link to direct you to your shop and I am nowhere near that since I hardly ever post or engage on there. I'll still use it though for cute animal videos and such occasionally.

Do you have a health food store that already has things like veggie chicken, salami, hot dogs, etc pre-made? We're pretty lucky to have most of that ready to grab and go at many grocers here so I don't have to spend hours making it myself.

    5. You need to do a video with your products for TicToc and then when it goes viral (choose the naughty ones) your sales will go through the roof LOL Or you should send Jason to Shark's Tank LOOOL

In some we do, but they are quite expensive to the point where I don't even buy them anymore as I am not rich enough for it. It used to be cheaper some ten or more years ago but now everything including that is unaffordable. I only buy seasoned tofu in Lidl where it is very cheap and sometimes I find pea protein based veggie nuggets in our Maxi chain, but since I go to the city just once a month now because of the non existant road, bridge and bus, I cannot buy it often. I also do not have a healthy food store near my home, so once a month I bring supplies from the city, it is usually 5 or 6 kilos of oats, peanuts, millet, lentils and shit. Have to take cab to transport it home. Hope the bridge will be done in September.

    6. The veggie meats are quite expensive here too, but sometimes we can catch a good sale. I can't imagine the stress that stupid bridge is still causing you, not to mention the elderly and disabled citizens in your neighborhood. Are they offering any kind of community assistance for those in need that no longer can get out because of the construction? Or is it tough luck for them?

    7. No, they don't give a feckity feck about us because we have mobsters in power. I mean imagine the government that cancels even your bus line after taking away your bridge and road. Such things can happen only here and maybe in Swaziland.
