FOR WYATT EARP AND THE COWBOY WARS
Docudrama will air on Netflix this summer |
THIS SIX PART DOCU-DRAMA
directed
by Patrick Reams, is narrated by Ed Harris and has Tim Fellingham,
Edward Franklin, Jack Gordon, Peter O’Meara, Christian Mackay and
Christina Leonardi starring in the live action parts of the documentary
series based on the life of Wyatt Earp, a lawman and gunfighter who
waged a battle against Clanton and gang, who were infamously
called 'The Cowboys'. Tensions arose between Earp, his brothers Virgil
and Morgan, and a friend, Doc Holliday, while trying to disarm Clanton
and his gang for alleged robbery and murder in 1881. This event was
followed by a big gunfight at the OK Corral.
Earp managed to escape attempts on his life after killing Billy Clanton,
Tom McLaury, and Frank McLaury!
Netflix always has something that we don't want to watch...We just start a new British detective series Grace...books are much better.
ReplyDeleteI rarely watch anything from them, their offer is so atrocious and seems to cater to the infantile viewers who want gore and crime and glorification of sin and crime. I think Valhalla is the only thing I will watch from them in many a month.
DeleteAlthough Doc Holiday is one of my historical crushes, I don't need to see Netflix revisionist take.
ReplyDeleteBet it will be Gen Z simplified and agendafied docu.
DeleteI find that time period really boring.
ReplyDeleteThe whole Wild West, I would say.
DeleteMight be one that Jason would like, but probably not for me. I think the last thing on Netflix that I liked was the Irish Wish movie with Lindsay Lohan. I'll have to hurry up and watch Valhalla before we cancel them.
ReplyDeleteIrish Wish wasn't good, but also wasn't bad either, I enjoyed it for some unknown reason. I think I had hots for his brother and the pub owner as well.
DeleteI agree. Wasn't one I'll watch again, but still enjoyable nonetheless. I think the charm was it was like a Hallmark movie, but on Netflix for once. I do enjoy a good Hallmark movie, but never watch them a second time.
DeleteNetflix is going for that, for Hallmark melodrama, they had that sea wedding one with Brooke Shields, which was really bad but watchable, and Love is in the Air with Delta Goodrem and Joshua Sasse, which was pretty but really terrible and her character was unlikeable. They have now announced some new one set in a Bachelor like competition.
DeleteI forgot about the Brooke Shields one. I just watched that one last month. Yes, it was on the same line as Irish Wish. Bad, but you couldn't help liking it for some odd reason. I think I just like Brooke so much, it kept me engaged even though it was a bit boring and predictable.
DeleteShe was funny in it, especially the face when they gave her that hideous black dress.
