HOUSE OF GUINNESS
PERIOD SET SERIES HIRES BEER-MAKERS
Back in March I told you that Netflix and Steven Knight are shooting a period set series HOUSE OF GUINNESS about one of Europe’s most famous and enduring dynasties – The Guinness Family. Set in 19th century
Dublin and New York, it will focus on the consequences of the death of
Benjamin Guinness, the man responsible for the extraordinary success of
the Guinness brewery, and the far-reaching impact of his cunning will on
the fate of his four adult children, Arthur, Edward, Anne, and Ben, as
well as on a group of Dublin characters who work and interact with the
growing juggernaut that is one of the most beloved alcoholic drinks
today. Now it has been revealed that Anthony Boyle will play Arthur Guinness and David Wilmot will be Bonnie Champion with Louis Partridge also in the cast. Danielle Galligan, Seamus O’Hara and Fionn O’Shea will join the too.
When I was much much younger and still drank alcohol..I would lower an egg yolk into a Guinness and drank it...very nutritious :-))
ReplyDeleteEwwwwww, sounds terrible LOOOL More like a mask for your hair not a drinky drink.
DeleteI definitely do not like Guinness, but I'd watch this because the story is probably fascinating.
ReplyDeleteMy stupid sister put an egg mask on her hair once, then turned the water to scalding to wash it out. Needless to say, she was picking cooked egg out of her hair the rest of the day LOLOL.
LOL must have been a sight to remember
