Knives are Out tomorrow, November 27th |
Here is one from Lionsgate that is out as soon as tomorrow and I'm sure a lot of you have been anxiously waiting for that very day:
KNIVES OUT had its run around movie festivals this Autumn after opening first at Toronto International Film Festival back in September, and is now finally ready to bring mystery to theatres near you November 27th. And not just mystery, but also a bit of comedy and one of the most stellar casts we have seen on the big screens this year:
Chris Evans, Christopher Plummer, Toni Collette, Don Johnson, Daniel Craig (who plays a sort of an American Poirot),
Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael
|
The movie was both written and directed by Rian Johnson |
Shannon, Katherine Langford, Frank Oz are just some of the well known names you will be seeing in the comedy mystery thriller in which
|
Daniel Craig and Chris Evans lead the cast of the movie |
'everyone has a motive, but no one has a clue'! The $40 million worth movie was directed by
Rian Johnson who made himself famous with the Last Jedi
|
Michael Shannon and Christopher Plummer star in the film |
Star Wars movie. The man also wrote the script himself for his passion project that he has been working on for almost ten years! The movie has been universally praised so far by those who have had the chance to already see it.
Nothing Really Brings A Family Together Like Murder
Wealthy crime
novelist Harlan Thrombey (
Christopher Plummer) invites his dysfunctional
extended family to his remote mansion on his 85th
|
Toni Collette and Don Johnson are also part of the family |
birthday in hopes of
reuniting them all. However, the day after the birthday party, Harlan is
found dead by members of the family at his estate and thus, the
inquisitive and debonair Detective Benoit Blanc (
Daniel Craig) is

mysteriously enlisted to investigate. From Harlan's dysfunctional family
to his devoted staff, Blanc sifts through a web of red herrings and
self-serving lies to uncover the truth behind Harlan's untimely death.
I'm really looking forward to this one! I already have a theory about whodunnit and I don't even know the basics of the story yet, LOL!
ReplyDeleteJamie Lee Curtis has a revealing smirk on her face, she's the killah!
DeleteAllison mentioned this one a while back. Now we just need to find the time to squeeze a trip to the theater into our schedule.
ReplyDeleteYou positively must!
DeleteI'm looking forward to this one! It may even be worth the splurge of going to a Sunday matinee in the theaters. :)
ReplyDeleteShould be a fun trip to the cinema for some Chris Evans!
DeleteI don't find him as physically attractive as the other actors named Chris. Although, after watching a few interviews, I couldn't help but swoon a little. He seems ever so nice and genuine!
DeleteHe is probably the most beautiful actor that has ever lived.
