STARRING ROBERT REDFORD AND JANE FONDA
First trailer has also been revealed for Jane Fonda and Robert Redford's romantic drama OUR SOULS AT NIGHT which is out September 29th on Netflix! Louis and Addie are longtime neighbours who never really knew each other, he calls her “Miss Moore” when she comes to his house for the first time. Both have lost their longtime spouses, quite a while back, it appears, and are lonely. As they begin to get to know each other,
Matthias Schoenaerts plays Fonda's son in the movie
they’re nervous about what the other locals might say because talk is cheap when the story is good. After some time, the nascent couple is ready to spread the news.
Looking forward to "Journey's End"! But "Our Souls at Night" looks a bit predictable unless of course one of them turns out to be a serial killer or something.
Jason does like the war movies, so I am sure he'll add Journey's End to the lineup.
Our Souls at Night will be a boring day watch for me. Nice to see it's on Netflix so I can walk around the house and do my chores and listen to it in the background.
That's the new wave of the future. I heard just today that this year alone 20 million people here will be canceling their cable because streaming is what most of us prefer these days. We downgraded to the cheapest plan, but will eventually cancel completely.
I've lived without cable or telly for two years now, maybe even three, can't remember, and it is very cleansing for the soul. Another trend will also be films appearing on DVD or streaming services month or two after playing in cinemas.

ReplyDeleteRedford does have that serial killer vibe indeed
DeleteSounds okay bout neither film jump at me. Since the latter is on Netflix, I might give it a look before the year's over.
