PREMIUM SPOTLIGHT ON AMAZON'S SPANISH HISTORICAL TV SERIES INES OF MY SOUL BASED ON THE BOOK BY ISABEL ALLENDE!

In recent years we enjoyed Spanish historical series Plague, Hernan and Cathedral of the Sea, and next year we can expect Amazon's lavish epic series
The series was based on the book by Isabel Allende
El Cid, but earlier this summer Amazon already aired eight episode historical saga INES OF MY SOUL (Ines del alma mia), a small screen adaptation of the famous novel by Isabel Allende (translated into more than 30 languages around the world), but sadly only in Spain where it also aired on their RTVE, Spanish national broadcaster!  Sadly, no news so far when it will be available on Amazon Prime Video for the rest of the world. The series stars Elena Rivera (as Ines, a daring 16th century young woman who travels to the NewWorld in search of her husband and becomes a governor of the current Santiago de Chile), Eduardo Noriega, Enrique Arce, Carlos Bardem and Benjamín

Vicuña in the cast. The shooting which went on last year, used natural settings of Chile, Peru and Spain,especially Extremadura and Andalusia. Down in Latin America, the production also covered locations such as the Atacama Desert, Santiago de Chile, Valdivia and Araucanía.
