plays a Holocaust survivor with a daycare business who takes in a 12-year-old street kid (Ibrahima Gueye
) who recently robbed her.
The film is actually a remake of a French foreign language movie Oscar winner from 1977 with Simone Signoret. The film will stream worldwide on Netflix next month. This is Sophia's first movie after a ten year pause.

), Regina starts to have a change of heart.
Sophia Loren again. Such a treat. The trailer made me tear up.ReplyDelete
Would be fun if both her and her son were nominated for some awards this season.Delete
These both look great. How does Dolly Parton not age? I mean, I know it’s probably just a great plastic surgeon, but even with work done people usually show some sign of age!ReplyDelete
Not sure I'd call her plastic surgeon great LOL I mean she's the example of bad plastic jobs :)Delete
Wonderful to see Sophia back on screen. I thought the story sounded familiar. I do think I'll like this telling of it just as much as the original.ReplyDelete
Should be a nice watch, although kids like that scare both you and me as we know it...Delete
After taking in my own troubled youth last year, I'd never do it again. Those who can weather that kind of storm have my utmost respect.Delete
How is the troubled youth these days? Annoying the granny?Delete
Worse than ever, but thank God she's not my responsibility any more. Finally gained my weight and health back since she went home since I'm not as stressed these days. Poor granny is fit to be tied with her antics though.ReplyDelete
So sad to hear she is not progressing, hope she has a catharsic moment later on in life and changes for good when she is more mature. But glad to hear you are regaining your health back, it was a difficult but a wise decision to send her back, sadly.Delete
