THE LAST FRONTIER
THE HEROIC PODOLSK CADETS
The Last Frontier arrives this November
Despite corona, Russia has had an amazing selection of great movies this year (stay tuned for more spotlights this month). One of them is THE LAST FRONTIER (aka Podolskiye kursanty) an epic war drama which will arrive into their cinemas November 4th and 8th in Germany! The film tells the story of the Podolsk cadets' heroic stand outside Moscow in October 1941. Cadets from the Podolsk infantry and artillery schools were sent to the Ilyinsky line of defense, fighting alongside units from the Soviet 43rd Army to hold back the German advance until reinforcements arrived. Hopelessly outnumbered, young men in their teens laid down their lives in a battle lasting almost two weeks to

  2. Two more for Jason to tune into, if he ever gets done with this damn house. Did I tell you he decided to BUILD ON to the garage, to make himself a workshop/mancave? Like, aren't we moving some day!? I think we're ready to put in an offer on the land we want in Michigan, but if he doesn't get his crap together, we're going to live in a big ole house just the two of us forever. *sigh* Can't live with you men, don't want to live without you either though LOL.

    1. Maybe he has nostalgia issues and this is his secret mechanism for staying in the old house LOL Hope all the money he has put into the refurbishing will pay off through the selling price.

    2. He's the one who says he hates this house and can't wait to move. I do believe we'll get a bigger return on investment in the long run, I'm just tired of not seeing him ever. Work all day, then come home and work on the house until well after bed time :(

    3. Can't you work with him? :) Or at least take him some refreshments in a sexy costume?

  3. We have not been to the Cinema since February despite it being open now. Health and age tells us it is wiser to stay at home. Sad, as I love our little local cinema.
    Keep safe, Diane

    1. And I don't think they will open for real any time soon, a lot of them will close forever, sadly, as Hollywood has no intention in helping them. Thanks for dropping by, hope to see you here again, Diane!

  4. The second one looks good! The first one I think I’d pass on. Not a fan of the movies that are just one giant chase. Imagine living like that? Always moving around in the hopes that someone don’t find you.
