whole filming and post production done in stunning three months, so that it could've been released on October 25th to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Chinese People’s Volunteers Army entering the Korean War! And we are talking about a massive, big scale war epic, not a small movie.
In YEAR 1953
the Korean War is entering the final stage. The People's
Volunteer Army of China has launched the last major battle in Kumsong.

inferior equipment. The rarely told history slowly unfolds. The film was

Lu Yang in order to make it on time!
That's quite impressive how quickly they pulled this one together. Looks like it was well done as well, especially for such a short time period to have it finished.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing the three directors worked at the same time on three different sets and production lines to finish it especially as this also includes post production which often lasts longer than the shooting itself.
DeleteI can't believe they did that in 3 months! They're leaving precedence for other filmmakers now. :)
ReplyDeleteIt will definitely stop western directors from whining that something cannot be done :) When the great leader of the country says it can, it can, no discussion :) I mean, they did build that corona hospital in three days...
