THE UNDOING TV SERIES
STARTS NEXT WEEK AT HBO
The latest one of the new Autumn series to premiere this season, as soon as tomorrow, October 25th on HBO, is THE UNDOING thriller based on the
2014 novel You Should Have Known by Jean Hanff Korelitz. The first reviews of the series that will air during November, seem to agree that the show could've benefited from a different casting as neither Nicole Kidman nor Hugh Grant bring nothing new to their acting style, playing the same role they've played last twenty years.
The Undoing starts tomorrow on HBO Max |
THE UNDOING follows Grace Fraser, who is living the only life she ever
wanted for herself. She's a successful therapist on the brink of
publishing her first book, has a devoted husband and a young son who
attends an elite private school in New York City. Weeks before her book
is published, a chasm opens in her life; a violent death, a missing
husband and in the place of a man Grace thought she knew, only a chain
of terrible revelations. Left behind in the wake of a spreading and very
public disaster, and horrified by the ways in which she has failed to
heed her own advice, Grace must dismantle one life and create another
for her child and herself.
Produced
by David E.Kelley, the series was directed by Susanne Bier with Nicole
Kidman singing the intro song Dream ALittle Dream Of Me |
I've always liked Nicole Kidman.
ReplyDeleteShe will be happy to hear it ;))
DeleteNeither actor interests me, so this will be a pass here.
ReplyDeleteI might leave it for crisis days if corona hits the productions again, as I feel Nicole might be the murderess here and would like to see her in jail LOL
DeleteYour comment about Nicole in jail has me laughing.. LOL Knowing how most of these movies go, she'll be the heroine.
ReplyDeleteI did smell a bit of witchcraft in one of the scenes, I reckon she kicked poor hubby into a cauldron just you wait and see...
DeleteI've heard nothing but good things about this one, and it's on my list to check out! Hugs, RO
ReplyDeleteHope it won't disappoint you!
