Peacock and they've chosen
BRAVE NEW WORLD, a small screen adaptation of
Aldous Huxley's famous science fiction novel, as their tentpole series. The

series with ten episodes (each worth a staggering $10 million) will start July 15th set in a utopian society called New London that has achieved peace and stability through the prohibition of monogamy, privacy, money, family and history itself.
What's The Story
As citizens of New London, Bernard Marx (
Harry Lloyd) and Lenina
Crowne (
Jessica Brown Findlay) have only ever known a rigid social
order, a perfect pharmaceutical called Soma, and a culture of instant
gratification and ubiquitous sex. Curious to explore life beyond the
strictures of their society, the two New Worlders embark on a vacation
to the Savage

Lands, where they become embroiled in a harrowing and
violent rebellion. Bernard and Lenina are rescued by John the Savage

Nina Sosanya is Mustafa Mond, a World Controller who is responsible for maintaining New London’s social structure and utopian promise.
Demi Moore will play Linda, the brash, hard-living mother of John the Savage!

DeleteI don't think I would be leaving a world where everything is structured and people are happy. They were nuts to leave in the first place. Gimme the happy pill, I'll take it right now. lol

DeleteI hated the book. Won't watch the series. Maybe I'm just not refined enough to enjoy some of the classics, but this one was really painful for me to push through.
