'THE MIRACLE CLUB'
FINDS ITSELF A THESPIAN TRIO
A trio of award winning ladies has been cast in Embankment Films' new movie THE MIRACLE CLUB which will see Maggie Smith, Kathy Bates and Laura Linney leading the story of working-class women from Dublin who embark on a pilgrimage to Lourdes. As ScreenDaily reports, Thaddeus
O’Sullivan is directing the movie which will have a 2022 release. It will also be offered to buyers at Cannes. The movie was first planned back in 2004 under Pushers Needed title. A few weeks ago I told you that Embankment will also be offering EMILY movie on Emily Bronte for sales this month.
Maggie Smith and Kathy Bates will be going to Lurdes |
Glad to see that Sam Heughan is branching out from the Scottish Highlands to Regency England! And three of my fave actresses in "The Miracle Club" one!
ReplyDeleteHe will look good in a Regency suit.
DeleteCool. I Just search The Miracle Club in Google
ReplyDeleteGoogle is always very nice to us.
DeleteRevenge because she was shunned by a man who she wasn't even dating? Sounds like the lady has some issues that really need worked on.
ReplyDeleteSome ladies have big egos, especially when the man is rich as this one is :) It is like that blooming idiot of a hillbilly from Facebook that organised a divorce party where she smashed her exes' photo with a hammer. Psycho much?
DeleteGlad I missed that. People who act like that are usually very toxic to be around.
DeleteThey've been repeating it millions of times on all possible pages.
DeleteI will check it :)
ReplyDeleteYou must...
DeleteVery cool suit Sam wears.
ReplyDeleteHe is very dashing.
Delete16 years is a long time to plan a movie plus two more years until it's released. After 18 years, it better be a masterpiece!
ReplyDeleteIt should be with that lineup.
DeleteI didn’t realize I had already seen Mr. Malcolm’s List as a short! https://youtu.be/5WIcqyHDuIg
ReplyDeleteYes, it was first done as a short film, she is really milking it with the book as well now.
DeleteI would have loved to see Gemma Chan back though. She’s one of my girl crushes.
ReplyDeleteShe is wildly gorgeous, but I don't like her privately as she always comes across as a borderline hateful libtard. A lot of her opinions could be seen as mildly racist.
DeleteOh I had no idea!
ReplyDeleteShe loves to play the race card, she is one those that complains that BBC never gives her roles in period set dramas, well, duh, will you see me playing the emperor of China???
DeleteYou’re right about her milking it. The book sounds terrible, even the new recent reviews are scathing.
ReplyDeleteI mean first a short film, then the long film, then the book... how much juice can you squeeze from it?
