'SPUTNIK' TRAILER
RUSSIA'S MOST STREAMED MOVIE
Sputnik was released this April |
While I'm preparing to launch a spotlight on the Russian movies you can expect in cinemas this year sometime this summer, you can check out the scary trailer for their sf horror SPUTNIK which has officially become their best viewed digitally released movie accumulating more than million streamings (on their streamers More.tv, Ivi and Wink) since April and beating all Hollywood releases.
At the height of the Cold War, a Soviet spacecraft crash lands after a
mission gone awry, leaving the commander as its only survivor. After a
renowned Russian psychologist is brought in to evaluate the commander's
mental state, it becomes clear that something dangerous may have come
back to Earth with him. Oksana Akinshina, Pyotr Fyodorov and Anton Vasilev lead the cast. The film will be released in USA in August.
The movie comes from the studio that made Russia's best sf hits Attraction, Isolated Island and Koma, alongside war epic Stalingrad. |
Looks creepy! Maybe more suited for me to watch around Halloween.
ReplyDeleteIndeed :) I do ever so hope, though, that when they come, aliens won't be so ebil, we have enough ebilness over here without the galactic one.
DeleteI think they'll take one look at the mess we've created here and say *f* that and just keep on moving to the next planet.
DeleteThat is the most probable scenario, hope they take us with them, though.
DeleteFingers crossed. I might just pack my bags and hope they have mercy and take me with them.
DeleteI just hope they are not slimy reptiles but more like baby Yodas.
DeleteYa know. The way 2020 has ended up, I wouldn't be surprised if aliens showed up too. lol
ReplyDeleteMost of psychics did announce their arrival for last year... maybe they are already here.
DeleteEep!! I think I'll skip this one, although I hate to agree with Mary. Aliens would be the next step after the riots, murder hornets, and COVID19!
ReplyDeleteDon't forget floods, quakes and locusts - we had all of that too this year around the world.
