OLIVIA MUNN TO LEAD REPLAY SF ACTION MOVIE! RUPERT EVERETT, CHARLES DANCE, TOM WILKINSON, ASA BUTTERFIELD TO LEAD ADAPTATION OF STEPHEN FRY'S THE LIAR BOOK

   OLIVIA MUNN TO LEAD
 REPLAY SF ACTION MOVIE
Olivia Munn will try to become a new action star
Here is another new big screen project that will be offered to buyers at Cannes virtual market this month: the plot of Olivia Munn's new movie promises an action packed thriller with elements of science fiction: in REPLAY, which she will also produce with Jimmy Loweree as writer and director, she will play a woman called Erin Staffer, whose husband is kidnapped and murdered. Now, armed only with illegal, bleeding edge technology and a desperate plan, Erin must do everything in her power to change the past and save him. The producers are hoping this will be the birth of a new female action star.

   STEPHEN FRY'S 'THE LIAR'
FINDS A STELLAR ENSEMBLE!
The Liar was Stephen Fry's first book
Meanwhile, over in Britain, a rather stellar cast has been gathered around THE LIAR, the big screen adaptation of Stephen Fry's novel. Strangely, he is not directing, he left the helm to Tony Hagger whose feature debut this is. Rupert Everett, Charles Dance, Tom Wilkinson, David Walliams, Sally Phillips and Asa Butterfield will star in the film with this plot: The educational career of an impossibly smug public schoolboy, compulsive liar and Oscar Wilde wannabe, Adrian Healey, whose duplicitous pranks and game playing somehow get him embroiled in an international espionage case with his university professors. As fuge and subterfuge feature, Adrian searches for the meaning of life; well, his life anyway.

  1. It should be a sin to be as pretty as Olivia Munn is. I think the plot of the movie sounds intriguing, even for someone like me who isn't into scifi.

That iguana looks like one who will kick your butt just for looking at him.

    1. She is very pretty and has suffered a lot of shit in Hollywood thanks to being beautiful especially from that prick Brett Ratner. The iguana definitely isn't happy.

  2. Could it be that Olivia's acting role was able to match Angelina Jolie's desperate actions in the film Mr. & Mrs. Smith? ..., I'm curious to watch the action.

    1. Well, she's a much better actress than Angelina, so I'm sure she will outmatch her in everything :)

  4. I haven't read Stephen Fry's novel, but I read his earlier autobiographies and clearly the novel is based on his own life (well, at least the compulsive liar aspect). Should be a very entertaining movie!

    1. He had a very sad life often, the clinical suicidal depression which he managed to cure only when he married his current husband.

  5. Not sure what kind of lizard that is but he sure does look suspicious.

  6. A coworker of mine recently recommended The Liar to me as my next read! I was on the fence about it, but maybe you just gave me the final push I needed to give it a go. I couldn't find it on audio anywhere which means it's going to be a book in had while lounging in the sun type of read. :)

    1. I'm thinking Fry could never disappoint. He's the daddy we all wished we had.
