An eight part costume drama set against the backdrop of the cabaret scene in the MONTMARTRE Parisian
neighborhood is being lined up for this year's Series Mania at the end of March and today you can see the first image. Set at the turn of the 19th century,
the historical drama will tell the intertwining stories of a trio of
characters. Céleste (Alice Dufour), is a
determined Cancandancer who is desperate to fund a search for her long-lost siblings. Arsène (Victor Meutelet) is a wealthy young engineer, who breaks off an arranged marriage to embrace his hidden love for men. Meanwhile, Rose (Claire Romain), works in a laundry and dreams of a simple life. Hugo Becker, Mathilde Seigner, Thibault de Montalembert and Mikaël Mittelstadt will also star for TV France 1.

I wish we would have time for some cabaret while we were in Montmartre. I said I never needed to visit Paris again after our last trip, but I really would go back and take in a few shows. We checked out Moulin Rouge from the outside while we were there, but they were closed since it was World Cup celebrations then.
