It is remarkable and heart-warming that even our instant and shallow society finds interest in and has patience for this classic movie of such life complexity.
ReplyDeleteI think there will be more patience and interest in Europe than in, let us say, America.
DeleteThat's one I'd like to see. It looks like it'll be well-done.
ReplyDeleteIt will air on PBS for America
DeleteDon't sell us short, Dez. There's lots of Americans who LOVE this sort of thing. I definitely want to see it!
ReplyDeleteyep, but you're in extreme minority :) Most of them prefer procedurals and crime shows or violent GOT crap.
DeleteThis American is looking forward to it. I’m just mad we have to wait until January!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure that is the PBS date, but it could be!
DeleteI'm looking forward to this too. Les Miserables is one of the world's great stories.
ReplyDeleteand there is no singing this time!
DeleteI'm feeling a little miserable!
ReplyDeleteme a bit more than you, Fran!
DeleteOne of my favourite books...fingers crossed!
