'HOTEL MUMBAI' TEASER
BASED ON TRUE EVENTS!
It happened exactly ten years ago and now we have the first teaser for a movie that tells the disturbing story about it. HOTEL MUMBAI, set to be released
this January in Australia, in March in USA and then in April and May in Europe, is based on the true story of the devastating terrorist attack on the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in 2008. The terrifying assault brings together the guests and staff of the luxurious hotel including wealthy new parents David and Zahra (Armie Hammer and Nazanin Boniadi), Russian businessman Vasili (Jason Issacs) and newly promoted waiter Arjun (Dev Patel) in a desperate fight for survival. This story celebrates humanity, compassion, courage, resilience and the unwavering desire to survive. Check out the scary trailer below:
The movie will be first released in Australia and New Zealand |
A true story with the ending already known, I don't know about this one!
ReplyDeleteThe full trailer should be here any time, methinks
DeleteThis looks very suspenseful and tense. I remember this attack from the news at the time.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember it, but these things, sadly, happen so often, it is no wonder it is difficult to remember them all.
DeleteHotel Mumbai reminds me of another hotel - Hotel Park in the city of Netanya,Israel.
ReplyDeleteIn March 2002 , during the Passover festive dinner at the hotel,30 people were killed, over 60 injured by a terrorist attack carried out by a suicide bomber.
Palestinian, I assume? Terrorists down at Kosovo have just established an official army there even though the West forbids it.
DeleteYou assume right.
ReplyDelete"...the West forbids it" - terrorists don't respect the West, and frankly speaking, we don't either.
and West often supports and creates those terrorists like in our case here or with ISIS.
DeleteI am so damn stressed watching this clip. It's a sad world we live in when one has to fear terrorist attacks. I admit, many times I am sitting in a crowded place, I am constantly looking around plotting my escape should some lunatic come in ready to start laying out bodies. I will never understand what makes a person have a desire to cause harm to another, especially strangers. It's truly a f'd up world.
ReplyDeletemy friend is in Strasbourgh and they just had a Muslim shooter killing eight and wounding a number of people at the Christmas market there. Thankfully my friend was at work in the Council of Europe! Meanwhile, our terrorists down in Kosovo have established an army this week. If USA stands behind them they will probably enter our country and attack us like they did at Kosovo. It never rains but pours....
DeleteYes, we heard about the Strasbourgh attack. I am glad your friend wasn't hurt, but am so sad for the victims and their families. Let's hope US doesn't back the bullshit, but you never know with our government :(
DeleteTrump wants to solve the issue quickly because he aims to solve all foreign problems pronto and then work on your inner problems. But you never know, USA created the terrorist false state of Kosovo and they might turn a blind eye to any vicious thing they do here. I'm just sick of wars, had one too many in my sad life.
