| The new series will stream on Netflix in October | 
period set horror series brings a reimagined history of the French Revolution,
 when during the 18th century, the guillotine's future inventor, a member of King Louis XVI state assembly, uncovers a disease that drives the 
aristocracy to murder commoners. The cast of the new series is led by 
Amir El Kacem, Marilou Aussilloux, Lionel Erdogan! Historically, Guillotin did not actually invented the device, he just fought for the right of the poor to be executed as painlessly as the noble  criminals, because before that  only members of the elite were offered the luxury of a beheading.

Peasants were subjected to being burned alive, hanging, drowning and other slow and agonizing ends. 
 
What Is The Crazy Story About? 
The eight episode mix of historical adventure and horror, created by 
Aurelien Molas, is set in Kingdom of France, 1787. Investigating a 
series of mysterious murders, Joseph Guillotin - future inventor of the 
guillotine -

| The plot of the series is set at the end of the 18th century | 
discovers the existence of a new virus: blue blood. The 
disease spreads within the aristocracy and pushes the nobility to attack
 the people. This is the start of a revolt ... What if we had been lied 
to for more than two centuries? Here is the true story of the French
