THE LAUREATE TEASER
WITH TOM HUGHES, LAURA HADDOCK AND DIANNA AGRON
I have the first teaser from period set drama that still does not have a release date THE LAUREATE, which,
set against the glamorous backdrop of
Britain's roaring '20s, tells the story of young British War Poet Robert Graves (Tom Hughes), who is married with four children when he meets and becomes romantically involved with Laura Riding (Dianna Agron), a writer from America. Defying the conventions of polite society, Riding moves in with Graves and his wife (Laura Haddock) living as a menage a trois. Then with the arrival of strappingly handsome Irish poet Geoffrey Phibbs (Fra Fee), the arrangement becomes a menage a quatre. But soon tensions and rivalries become so fraught that Graves is a suspect for attempted murder. You can also check out the first teaser below:
William Nunez both wrote and directed the film |
This has all the elements I love in a film. Can't wait until it has a release date!
ReplyDeleteI will definitely watch it as I adore Laura Haddock, Sam Claflin's ex wify :(
DeleteWell that certainly sounds intriguing.
ReplyDeletePoets have always been strange creatures.
DeleteWhile the plot is enticing, the poster looks like it is for a horror film!! I showed it to the husband to see if it was just me and he said “nope, it’s definitely creepy.” Lol
ReplyDeleteThe whole idea of bringing another woman in the house is kinda creepy. I think that works only with gay people, the more the merrier, but with straight people it is just weird, especially if there are kids around. That Sisters wives show on TLC still creeps me out massively, especially the husband. Only in Amurica....
DeleteDid you ever read the book called The 19th Wife? It’s a true story about the abuse that goes on, financial government scams, and brainwashing!
ReplyDeleteNo, and I don't plan too, too many things that go on in your country and your government allows it, creep me out.... that included and all your sects...
