  1. I didn't even recognize Kathleen Turner! That smoky voice is still the same though.

  2. Katleen Turner, still in business?! Quite a good actress, but I liked her better when she was not overweight

    1. She's not in big movies, her career never really took of after Jewel of the Nile movies, sadly. Kinda like Geena Davis.

  3. I love Constance Wu. She's hilarious and the reason why we got hooked on Fresh Off The Boat from episode 1. I can't wait to see Crazy Rich Asians. Looks great!

    1. I haven't heard of her before, can't say I like her in the trailer, but I see now she's popular in USA.

    2. I don't think her charisma really shined in this trailer. It's definitely a different character in this film than she is playing from her whacky mom role in FOB.

    3. oh, she is mom there? I thought she was very young.

    4. Yes, she plays a crazy Asian mom to 3 boys on the show. If you can overlook the 90's hip hop they occasionally run, I really think you'd like it. Good, wholesome entertainment.

PS, I am 1/2 way through Baby Daddy. I ♥ it!

    5. I might as I have a nasty feeling they is gonna cancel Superior Donuts next month :( CBS will probably clean up their Monday evening slate and make space for next season's new sitcoms. Superior Donuts was even lower in ratings than that nasty Kevin Can Wait crap :(
Next stop YOUNG AND HUNGRY :) It ends this summer, and I know you do them after they die :) I miss Ben from Baby Daddy soooo much it hurts.

    6. The wholesome shows do seem to get the boot earlier and earlier these days :(

Both the Wheeler boys are pretty hunky. One has the face of an angel and the other has the abs that probably came straight from the devil ;)

    7. Yes, they've just pull Living Biblically from the CBS schedule after just six episodes. Admittedly it really was a bad one, but I watched just the first episode. Roseanne is, meanwhile, doing good and I'm enjoying it even though I thought I would not. Them using humour to enlighten the fact they're dirt poor and desperate (unlike most sitcoms in which families are usually happy and lovely) really gives it a special depth. Not something I expected :) If they didn't cancel Last Man Standing ABC could've had the strongest sitcom hour in the history of TV.

Derek Teller who plays Danny in Baby Daddy is really stunning, did you know he has diabetes? I love his profile at Facebook, he is a very very nice chap. I also love Melissa Peterman and Chelsea from the cast, even Taj Mowry is adorkable. I wish they'd all get new roles, but only Derek is now starring in some superhero series

    8. I think the dirt poor but make the most of it is what most of the appeal is about. Most Americans are scraping by each week, so it's nice to see another family doing it with humor. Makes us feel a bit better about our situations.

I will forever be pissed about the cancellation of Last Man Standing.

I had no idea Derek Teller has diabetes. I imagine it being super hard to be in the spotlight while battling an incurable disease. I was just reading that the lead singer of Imagine Dragons has ulcerative colitis. I would never be able to be on the road in such a huge band and manage this illness. Mad respect goes out to those who can fight through the symptoms and still follow their dreams.

    9. Roseanne's family is really desperate, their daughters literally have no future, it is actually deeply depressing and sad, but the writers are managing to give it a special kind of very realistic humour and it is also very current. Are you watching? I missed the third episode previously and watched it last weekend, it was the best one so far, with Roseanne dealing with her punk ungrateful bitch of a granddaughter, it was really amazing. Reminds me of the wholesome, realistic humour Tim Allen usually has. In being educational.

Derek even has the catheter in his belly for insulin :( somewhere bellow those gorgeous abs of his. Jean Luc who plays Ben had a freak accident with fire before the last season, his arm had sever burns and he still managed to return for the shooting. I remember Loyd Macey, who competed in UK Voice last year, had nervous bowels and Crone's disease, he talked about it too, it was very educational and important.

    10. We haven't started Roseanne yet, but will this summer. We are getting through Modern Family right now, then we have to watch this last season's Walking Dead before diving into a new series. I do remember liking Roseanne back in the day, but for some reason never finished the last few seasons. We may have to catch up on those first too before reacquainting ourselves with that rowdy clan.

    11. I've never watched Roseanne before, I remember trying and finding it boring, it is much better now! Walking Dead should just die, it was so bad, I even felt nausea while watching and not because of the zombies... what zombies? It seems it isn't about zombies anymore... the end was the stupidest end ever....
