BOOKISH TV SERIES
STARTS FILMING WITH FULL CAST REVEALED
The shooting has commenced for Mark Gatiss new mini series BOOKISH at Alibi. London, 1946 is the dynamic, dangerous and chaotic setting for this stylish new detective drama, with the eccentric Gabriel Book at the very heart of the story: a self-appointed consultant detective to the local
police. The thousands of books that line the shelves of his shop provide him with all the knowledge he needs.
Book has gathered around him a host of lovable, damaged misfits whom he informally protects, cajoles, and mentors. His wife Trottie (Polly Walker) runs the wallpaper shop next door. Blake Harrison joins the returning core cast members as Sergeant Morris, with Rosie Cavaliero, Jacob Fortune-Lloyd, Tom Forbes, Amanda Drew, Luke Norris, Ella Bruccoleri and Michael Workéyè.

I like British detective mini series with a little bit of drama here and there...very different from American one...we are watching a Swedish catastrophe film The Abyss...so far so good.
ReplyDeleteYes, they are always better than US shows.
DeleteBookish sounds like something I'd watch. Can't wait to see that.
ReplyDeleteHope it will not be disappointing.
DeleteAnything that has to do with a bookstore and a little sleuthing is right up my alley. Too bad it's not coming out this year.
ReplyDeleteIt is only shooting now.
