NETFLIX GRABS MONSANTO
WITH GLEN POWELL AND ANTHONY MACKIE
Netflix has just paid over $30 million for new movie from John Lee Hancock MONSANTO in which Glen Powell plays young, untried attorney Brent Wisner, who takes on a seemingly insurmountable case against the giant U.S. chemical company Monsanto on behalf of Dewayne “Lee” Johnson (Anthony Mackie) who used Monsanto’s best-known product Roundup, a wildly financially successful weed and grass pesticide killer, as part of his job as a high school groundskeeper. During the trial, Dr. Melinda Rogers (Laura Dern), the chief toxicologist of the Monsanto Company, testifies with certainty that Roundup is safe.

ReplyDeleteThey did? How horrible, Monsanto is Satan's company, a vile place indeed.
DeleteI’m glad they’re still shining a light on this retched company. They are responsible for so many deaths and health issues and hold no accountability for it.
