TOBIAS SANTELMANN
TO LEAD HARRY HOLE NETFLIX TV SERIES
Netflix has unveiled Tobias Santelmann and Joel Kinnaman as leads in their TV series adaptation of Jo Nesbo's HARRY HOLE a whodunnit serial killer mystery led by famed anti-hero Harry Hole (Santelmann). Under the surface, it is a character drama about two police officers, and supposed colleagues, operating on opposite sides of the law.
Throughout the first season, Harry goes head-to-head with his long time adversary and corrupt detective Tom Waaler (Kinnaman). Harry is a brilliant but tormented homicide detective who struggles with his demons. As the two navigate the blurred ethical lines of the criminal justice system, Harry must do all he can to catch a serial killer and bring Waaler to justice before it is too late. The series will stream in 2026.

I like detective series...Don't know either of actors. Tobias Santelmann, the name sounds very German to me.

ReplyDeleteI read one Jo Nesbo book about this character and have no desire to read another though I know folk who have different opinions. Not for me.
ReplyDeleteI have just translated a Swedish crime novel last week for my publisher, but not Nesbo but de la Motte.
