Sound interesting, especially if it's done from an Indian point of view. The last books on Gandhi have focused on controversial aspects of his life. Wonder if they would included
ReplyDeleteProbably not as they are being done by the Indian producers for Indian mainly market.
DeleteSome faces look familiar, but can't recall in what series...we just finished A Man in Full yesterday.
ReplyDeleteHope your Orthodox Easter celebration is filled with joy and lots of sunshine, Dezzy. It's pretty lousy here...raining all the time.
I do not celebrate myself, but the rest of the country is not working unlike me LOL Rain is coming here tomorrow as well and then it will be cold next seven days. It is hot today, I went shopping in shorts and T shirt.
DeleteAllison has a little crush on Tom Felton though I never got the appeal. Which is weird because she usually goes for boys that have more of a Latin heritage.
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be cold here too for the rest of the week, which will make for a crappy market week for us, especially since we'll be getting heavy rains tomorrow afternoon and that's our busy day normally. Next week looks glorious though. Not too hot, not cold. That small window in the year when you've got perfect weather conditions.
He certainly looks better now that he did as a kid, the same goes for Radcliffe and especially for Matthew Lewis.
DeleteHope you will still have a nice opening of the season with good earnings in the opening week at the box office LOL
I do miss shopping a bit, ever since they have totally closed up our city quarter and have left us without the bus too I go downtown just once a month and have to stock up and come back with a taxi.
Is everyone irritated by the construction going on, or they just don't care. It sucks that you have the added expense of a taxi now on top of the inconvenience!
DeleteWe are not just pissed off but fully desperate, it is an agony, but nobody cares and the dictator will win local elections again next month because he rigged them again. He makes dead people vote and uses all kinds of vile tactics, not to mention that the opposition has no access to the state media. We are feeling the evilness of his regime literally now on our skins being deprived from the freedom to move freely. I will have to go to Novi Sad soon and will have to pay at least four or five taxis to get to the station and back both here and there. Just the taxis alone cost me more than the bus ticket itself.
DeleteI remember a movie about him with Ben Kingsley. The series may also be interesting.
ReplyDeleteYes, if I remember well that was the first role that actually made Kingsley famous.
