about to meet her. It is crucial you get to know this woman - many of us already do and don't even realise it. Joan Castleman (Glenn Close): a highly intelligent, devoted wife. with the first trailer and she is 'pleased to eat you' as the
first poster says! This action underwater drama is a sort of an aquatic Jurrasic Park since the main villain is a prehistoric shark megalodon! Based on a Steve Alten book it is out this August !

program, has been attacked by a massive creature, previously thought to
be extinct, and now lies disabled at the bottom of the deepest trench

save the crew, and the ocean itself, from this unstoppable threat: a
pre-historic 75 foot long shark known as the Megalodon. What no one
could have imagined is that, years before, Taylor had encountered this
same terrifying
It took more than 20 years for the book to find its way to the big screens
creature. Now, teamed with Suyin, he must confront his
fears and risk his own life to save everyone trapped below… bringing him
face to face once more with the greatest and largest predator of all
time.
My husband's coworker just met Christian Slater not too long ago. Sat down to dinner at his son's school and started chatting up a bummy looking chap who said, "Hi, I'm Chris Slater". Didn't dawn on him that it was the famous actor until a bit later in the conversation. It's funny who you run into in the oddest places. (Both coworker's and Slater's boys go to West Point here)
He was a big deal back in the 80's after Heathers came out, but I don't think he did anything memorable after that. There was a tv show that he did about 10 years ago that Jason and I really liked, though I don't recall the name of it. I don't think it lasted more than a season or two, and I don't think I have seen him in anything else since.
On a side note, Mariah just met Keiynan Lonsdale from Love, Simon last month at her school. Don't know how popular that guy is, but she was pretty excited to meet him.
"The Wife" looks good although the plot is pretty transparent. She made a Faustian deal with the devil which she now, quite rightly, regrets but she should have thought of that in the first place.
I don't even like to read about a shark, giant or not, let alone watch a movie with this terrifying creature. There are, however, people addicted to this kind of movies.

guess Slater isn't that famous any more these days :) Not that he ever was overly so.

Hope she is doing good at college! Is she still with that new boo?
DeleteShe just made the Dean's list for the year, which was pretty exciting. Obviously, she got her mama's brains :P
DeleteYep, still with new boo, and I'm still not over old boo. I've turned into one of those mothers who just doesn't know how to let things go, I suppose.
I've no idea what Dean's list is, but I'm guessing it is something important :)
DeleteIt's just something that recognizes the students who maintained high academic scores in all of their classes for the whole year.
Deletethat's lovely! Bravo for Mariah! Hope she is enjoying the studies.

ReplyDeletethat is my opinion too, if you know what your husband is like and play his game, the blame is on both of you, sadly.
