Well, with all these Greek gods and other mythological characters becoming the latest trend in Hollywood (which is much better then watching the vampiremania), why not have a piggish mythical hero? According to "Pajiba", Dreamworks Animation has offered Barry Sonnenfeld the helm behind "Pig Scrolls". This project will be an adaptation of Paul Shipton's novel which follows a talking pig and his attempts to save the world. Taking place in Ancient Greece, the book makes a lot of references to Greek mythology and it includes all of the major Greek gods, as well as some minor deities. In Dreamwork's version, the fate of the world, and of the Gods, will center on that talking piggy.
In case "Pig Scrolls" scores success at the box office Dreamworks will do a sequel as well. Now, just how cute is that? :))
Computer animated?
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, anything but vampires. Except Underworld 4 and Kate Beckinsale, of course. I'm good with that.
Well, I do hope they will use some cool new animation technique, this hilarious story deserves it :)
ReplyDeleteI'm bored beyond belief with talking animals.. :( As usual.
ReplyDeleteBut I support all comedies, so let them make this one.
But, Bels, these are cute little piggies :)))
ReplyDeleteI never had problem with cuteness of talking animals in any animated movie.
ReplyDeleteI'm just bored with overabundance of those characters. And even that wouldn't be a problem, if there was a room for something else in that genre. But no, takling animals, and animated objects, make up for 90% of Western animated films.
Bels, nevezano za ovu temu, do you have a pet?
ReplyDeleteMacke (najcesce macku i macora) vec godinama.
ReplyDeleteChildren are never bored of talking animals.
ReplyDeletechildren, and us, bigger children :)
