SECOND TRAILER FOR "THE LAST AIRBENDER"
Here's a brand new trailer for the upcoming fantasy adventure "The Last Airbender" which premieres July 2nd. The trailer reveals some stunning scenes which we haven't seen in the previous trailer, and plus you can see some amazing new fire and waterbending. But I still have a problem with some of the actors: is it just me, or do you also have a feeling that the youngest actor will be the weakest part in the movie?

I keep forgetting it's a kid flick. That's a shame, because as you pointed out, those young actors might be a weak point. (Although probably not as weak as the director.)
ReplyDeleteEh, I still wanna see it. And I've noticed over the past couple of years - well, since Harry Potter came out really - that main characters are all getting younger.
ReplyDeleteOr am I just getting older?
Hm..
This was one of the cartoons I actually really enjoyed watching with my son, so it will be interesting to see how it pans out in a movie.

ReplyDeleteI agree, I just hope we will enjoy at least the visual side of the movie.
@Dawn
No, Dawn, it's not us, we are fresh and young as spring daisies :PPP
@Michael and Samuel
Hey, guys, welcome to HOLLYWOOD SPY, hope we'll be seeing you here often :)
i freaking CANNOT wait for this movie. Mostly because i am such an avatar freak. That said i've already heard that the kid playing aang may not be the best actor. And even though i'm against the white washing, i think they did a pretty decent job of casting kids that look like the characters for the most part.
ReplyDeleteLet's just hope that they can act and not just look the right way :)
ReplyDeleteYou know I was not sure about this movie until I saw the trailer and now I want to see it. I find movies like this fascinating but that is just me...I love fantasy, make-believe, and even children's film. The world is a realistically dull enough place...our entertainment doesn't have to be.
ReplyDeleteI think young Avalons will have a jolly good time watching the Airbenders :)
