MUSIC BLOGFEST: HOLLYWOOD SPY'S TOP 30 BEST SONGS OF 2010

Your HOLLYWOOD SPY is taking part today in Alex J. Cavanaugh's TOP TEN COUNTDOWN music blogfest, but since you probably expect from my Royal Naughtiness to break the rules, I really must indulge you :) So instead of all time favourite list, this is HOLLYWOOD SPY'S TOP 30 BEST SONGS OF 2010.
The songs I've been singing and dancing to last year, the songs which made me happy and the videos I loved! What were your favourite songs from the last year? Your favourite lyrics?

  5. What a fun post, Dezzy! I like that 'Secrets' song from One Republic and thanks for featuring that James Morrison song, haven't heard that one but it sure is nice. My Zumba instructor plays Pink's 'Raise Your Glass' and that never fails to energize me. Oh and Enrique Iglesias' 'I Like It' is pretty fun to dance to as well.

  11. Funky-cool-spicy list ya got there! I'm a big Usher fan, so I'm happy to see a few of his songs on your list.

    By the way, I've become a big fan of that song you recommended to me, Desert Rain by Edward Maya! My homies dig it too and I added it to my playlist. Big thanks!

  12. Once again you've shown me how unwith it I am when it comes to modern entertainment trends. I am actually familiar with a few of these, but couldn't hum any of them (are songs still hummable?). Most however I don't know if I've heard or not. Very nicely presented list though.
    My list will be probably mostly songs that came out before you were born--oldies--but what else would you expect from me.

  20. Great pop songs, Dezz! My fave on your list is BAd Romance (but I prefer the 30 seconds to mars version, but still have Gaga songs on my iPod too!) and I just bought Grenade today (by my 11 yr old son's request). My list will be up in the morn.

    Nice, You may me wonder, what would I pick.

  47. Overachiever! HAHA. Really awesome choices. Those are my favorite songs from Alicia Keys and Bruno Mars by far. I'm a huge fan of One Republic (though I'd have probably gone with Apologize) and I actually really like Gaga's Speechless, but it hasn't been mainstreamed yet. OH! And Pink is awesome. Have you heard her new one? Now those are some inspirational lyrics.

  55. I think with most of these I know I know them and I've likely heard them, but I can't place them mentally, ya know? I've a bit of a soft spot for Lady Gaga; I think she's the right shade of crazy that means I'm more interested in her music than I would be otherwise :)
