  3. @Lyndylove
yep, I love Pink too when she's lyrical and not overly epic :) Love her songs SOBER, JUST LIKE A PILL, DON'T LET ME GET ME, U AND UR HAND ...

  4. Huge fan of Pink and I love Lady Gaga, too. Cool song choices, Dez. :)

  5. What a fun post, Dezzy! I like that 'Secrets' song from One Republic and thanks for featuring that James Morrison song, haven't heard that one but it sure is nice. My Zumba instructor plays Pink's 'Raise Your Glass' and that never fails to energize me. Oh and Enrique Iglesias' 'I Like It' is pretty fun to dance to as well.

  6. @Melissa
glad you like it, and can't wait for Gaga's new album next month :)

Oh, I'm glad you like it, dahling! Did you know that Ryan Tedder from ONE REPUBLIC (who wrote SECRETS and ALL THE RIGHTS MOVES) actually wrote PLEASE DON'T STOP THE RAIN for James Morrison?

  11. Funky-cool-spicy list ya got there! I'm a big Usher fan, so I'm happy to see a few of his songs on your list.

By the way, I've become a big fan of that song you recommended to me, Desert Rain by Edward Maya! My homies dig it too and I added it to my playlist. Big thanks!

  12. Once again you've shown me how unwith it I am when it comes to modern entertainment trends. I am actually familiar with a few of these, but couldn't hum any of them (are songs still hummable?). Most however I don't know if I've heard or not. Very nicely presented list though.
My list will be probably mostly songs that came out before you were born--oldies--but what else would you expect from me.

    Tossing It Out

  13. What an assortment! I recognize them and that scares me a little at my age.

  14. Interesting list, must say I don't listen to as much music as I once did so some I don't know.

    Thoughts in Progress

  15. Great list! I can't believe I forgot to add PINK to my list! Great bunch of songs you've listed.

  16. eeks! i've hardly heard of any of these songs!!! i must not be nearly as hip as you are dezz!! (but then i already knew that!):D

  17. Out of the list Hurts is my fav :)

  18. I've never heard of Hurts but I like it!

  19. Great pop songs, Dezz! My fave on your list is BAd Romance (but I prefer the 30 seconds to mars version, but still have Gaga songs on my iPod too!) and I just bought Grenade today (by my 11 yr old son's request). My list will be up in the morn.

  20. Great list, I love most of these! I am a Gaga and Adam Lambert fan~ I love a lot of Enrigue's stuff, Toni, Pink, Usher, Timberland...
Nice, You may me wonder, what would I pick.

I can't narrow it down to 10 songs, for Alex's challenge, but I will stop by and support those who do! Well Done~

  21. Great post! I am having lots of fun exploring your choices! :)

  22. You broke the rules but I forgive you! Some awesome choices, especially Adam Lambert and Lady GaGa.

  25. @Jennee
Pink is great, glad you like my list :)

    join the party, Masy!

yes, not all of these songs are known in USA, so that might be the reason :)

HURTS is the best band that appear at the music scene in last five years! :)

  26. @Clarissa
you should listen to their songs WONDERFUL LIFE and BETTER THAN LOVE at YouTube too

I generally don't like Bruno Mars, but I totally love his GRENADE :)

yes, it will be interesting seeing other people lists, even though they will go for all time favourites.

I always break the rules :) People expect that from me.

ah, love that, you should YouTube all of these songs :)

glad the Zombies like my music :)

  27. Oh my goodness! I'm so behind the times. I don't think I've heard of any of these songs before. :o

    But I have now! :)

  28. Oh, you've got some great tunes on that list. If I would've chosen my favorite songs from the year, it would have been easy - good idea.

  29. while our movie and tv interest line up, our music interest diverge wildly. That is cool though.

  30. Great, rich list. Adam Lambert should have won AI. Who was the other guy?

  31. haha, awesome. I love the way you break the rules! Great list!

  32. Great picks! I've got Gaga on my list too!

  33. Love, love, love your list. Lots I like here. Woo hoo!

  34. I like your choices especially Adam Lambart. Pink and Lady Gaga I always listen too, great list Dezz

  35. @Emily
    that's because most songs aren't American :)

glad you like it, Tara :)

well, I am from Europe after all :PP

    @M Pax
indeed he should, I have no idea who the other guy was :)

  39. Great list!! I love Bad Romance. Okay, I love Lady GaGa, who am I kidding?

  40. @Lydia
    thanks, Lydia, it's true :)

he makes the best songs ever, I literally adore him :) He made Beyonce's HALO, Jordin's BATTLEFIELD, J.Morrison's PLEASE DON'T STOP THE RAIN, Leona Lewis' BLEEDING LOVE and all the amazing songs from ONE REPUBLIC - APOLOGIZE, ALL THE RIGHTS MOVES, SECRETS...

we are all Gaga's little freaks :P

  41. A little Pink and a lot of Lady Gaga - and you can't go wrong ;)

  42. Female vocalists ruled in 2010! Gaga, Kelly Rowland, P!nk, Alicia Keys - all amazing. Good to see Tinie Tempah on your list, too!

  43. @Elaine
he he that's the perfect recipe :)

ah, that Tinie's song was absolutely amazing! Adore Turner's voice in the chorus!

  44. A big list Dezmond. I can see you dancing around to some of these tunes. Great choices. James Morrison would be my pick from your list.

  45. On the upside, I've heard of most of these artists...unfortunately, I'm not familiar with these particular songs.

  46. Overachiever! HAHA. Really awesome choices. Those are my favorite songs from Alicia Keys and Bruno Mars by far. I'm a huge fan of One Republic (though I'd have probably gone with Apologize) and I actually really like Gaga's Speechless, but it hasn't been mainstreamed yet. OH! And Pink is awesome. Have you heard her new one? Now those are some inspirational lyrics.

  47. Just my opinion, but I think you should have saved this for the upcoming blogfest titled: "Top 30 Best Songs Of 2010".

  50. An interesting list. It seems all hip-hop, and I haven't listened to this since I was . . well a long time ago. I liked the Hurt song, and I really need to see what all the fuss is about Lady Gaga and Usher.

    Thanks for sharing.

  51. Your list is all kinds of awesome. LOVE IT! And your blog ... gorgeous.

  52. Cheater!

Great picks, though. I really do like "Bad Romance." As much as I tried to fight it.

  53. It's amazing how musical taste can vary lol. i enjoyed reading this anyway. and for the best romantic actress, GO SANDRA BULLOCK!!!!!

  54. I think with most of these I know I know them and I've likely heard them, but I can't place them mentally, ya know? I've a bit of a soft spot for Lady Gaga; I think she's the right shade of crazy that means I'm more interested in her music than I would be otherwise :)

  55. @L'Aussie
ah, yes, James Morrison is such an amazing singer, love his mellow voice!

    that's because I'm from Europe :)

  57. Nice choices. I've never heard James Morrison before, but I like that song. Thanks for the link :)

And you KNOW I love the Gaga!

  58. you haven't? He's a great singer, he had a lovely duet BROKEN STRINGS with Nelly Furtado last year, and many great hits of his own before too!

  59. 30 songs! Great idea, though, to focus on the last year. Gosh, I wonder what I would have picked...

  60. I'm still not sure - I find myself listening to stuff thinking that it's new and then I find it's at least a couple of years old! You know you're getting older when [g]
