"UNCHARTED: DRAKE'S FORTUNE" GETTING MADE INTO AN ADVENTURE MOVIE
According to "Latino Review" Sony is going to hire "Conan" screen writers Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppen heimer to write the screen play for the adaptation of "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune", hugely popular PlayStation 3 game. This game follows the journey of Nathan Drake, supposed descendant of the explorer Sir Francis Drake, as he seeks the lost treasure of El Dorado, with the help of his friend Victor "Sully" Sullivan and journalist Elena Fisher. The game was well-received by critics who praised its high production values comparing them to that of summer blockbuster films. The only problems the movie adaptation will have to solve are the dark colours and bad dialogues in the game.

it’s clear that Sony wants to fast-track the production because of the popularity of Uncharted 2 which is being called the Best Video Game of 2009.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope they don't rush it too much. Better done proper than fast.
ReplyDeleteYep, it's true, they want to use the overwhelming popularity of the game. Hope the casting will be interesting.
