EXCITING NEW TRAILER FOR "CAMELOT". STUNNING PIC FROM "CONAN THE BARBARIAN". CARY ELWES JOINS "WONDER WOMAN"! EWAN MCGREGOR AS A KIND THIEF IN "ELECTRIC SLIDE"

Check out a brand new image of Jason Momoa in CONAN THE BARBARIAN published in "Empire Magazine". To be released this August, the remake of the famous epic film will also have Rachel Nichols, Rose McGowan and Ron Perlman in the cast. After his father is murdered and village destroyed, Conan ventures into an unforgiving world where he survives as a thief, pirate, and warrior. On his path of wanton adventure and women, Conan chances upon the warlord responsible for his tribe’s destruction. As he tracks Khalar Zym, Conan battles monsters, Zym’s henchmen, and Marique, a powerful witch.
SHORT HEADLINES *Julianne Moore has joined Robert De Niro and Paul Dano in ANOTHER NIGHT, a dramedy about an estranged father and his son who reunite at a
homeless shelter. *Here's another great addition to WONDER WOMAN cast. Cary Elwes will join Adrienne Palicki (Wonder Woman) and Elizabeth Hurley (her main nemesis) as the owner of Themyscira Industries in which Wonder Woman works. He will be her boss and possibly a love interest? *Ewan McGregor wil probably star in ELECTRIC SLIDE, as "gentlemen bank robber" Eddie Dodson who robbed banks all over Southern California with a smile on his face and a kind approach, without actually using a gun.

Today you can check out a brand new trailer for one of the biggest epic shows this Spring - CAMELOT, which starts this April on STARZ. In the wake of King Uther's sudden death, chaos threatens to engulf Britain. When the sorcerer Merlin (Joseph Fiennes) has visions of a dark future, he installs the young and impetuous Arthur (Jamie Campbell Bower), Uther's unknown son and heir, who has been raised from birth as a commoner. But Arthur's cold
and ambitious half sister Morgan (Eva Green) will fight him to the bitter end, summoning unnatural forces to claim the crown in this epic battle for control. These are dark times indeed for the new King, with Guinevere (Tamsin Egerton) being the only shining light in Arthur's harsh world. Faced with profound moral decisions, and the challenge of uniting a kingdom broken by war and steeped in deception, Arthur will be tested beyond imagination. Forget everything you think you know...this is the story of CAMELOT that has never been told before.

  10. I agree with you, Melissa, on Jason being more pleasant on the eye than Schwarzy :)

  18. Camelot looks interesting - looks like it has more of an edge than the BBC's Merlin series.

  19. Camelot doesn't look original at all, plus, this trailer only shows things we already know for ages about the Camelot legends.
    I'm happy that both McGowan & McGregor are back with new features =)

  22. Thanks for reminding me of Camelot - I'd forgotten all about it. Alas, here is another wicked show we won't be getting anytime soon in Canada. :(

  23. @Zakk
    thanks, Zakk ;) glad you enjoyed the trailer, don't forget to come Monday there will be a new super epic trailer for another of this Spring's epic shows!

    @Michael
    it will be grittier that MERLIN, although I adore MERLIN too, especially lovely Colin Morgan in the title role :)

    @Lucinda
    well, you can't and shouldn't be changing history just to entertain the mediocre taste of audience. It would be kinda superficial if producers would do such things.

    This spring is bringing us three big epic shows GAME OF THRONES on HBO, CAMELOT on Starz and BORGIAS on Showtime. You always have torrents like the rest of the world :)

    ReplyDelete
  25. Actually, I just saw and ad for the Borgias on one of our big Canadian networks. It looks pretty good.

    Incidentally, we just finished Pillars of the Earth here and...ugh. So unimpressive in the end.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm seeing so many favorites in here: Eva Green, Julianne Moore, and Cary Elwes. Elwes stands out in particular. I loved Princess Bride, plus I grew up on Wonder Woman.

    ReplyDelete
  27. @Allyson
    BORGIAS were made by the same team which brought us TUDORS, so it should be really amazing :) I will probably manage to catch GAME OF THRONES too, since it will be broadcast on HBO Central Europe a few weeks after US premiere.
    PILLARS were rather weak, even though they had a wonderful cast of young male actors and they had Ian McShane who was simply amazing.

    @Medeia
    :))) than it seems there will be some really great programmes for you in the future ;)

    ReplyDelete
  28. Might give Conan The Barbarian, a miss, but will definitely be looking forward to seeing Camelot. Can't wait for that :)

    ReplyDelete
  29. @Wendy
    we can't miss CAMELOT, now can we? :)) I will have more such epic things today and tomorrow as well

    @Lyndy
    and possibly your hands to rub it onto him? :)))

    ReplyDelete
  30. nope, I don't need to touch. I just like to admire from afar ;)

  31. Still waiting for trailer for Conan. I've seen set pictures, and some short clips, and it looks decent. But I still have to see trailer to pass some judgement.

    Cast for Wonder Woman keeps getting better. And I'm becoming more interested in this show as well.

    Aslo interested in Ewan McGregor's new film.

    Camelot looks quite good, but it's not really my genre. Maybe I'll check it out anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  32. watching CONAN trailer will be really nice. But what I'm most excited about is the trailer for IMMORTALS and JOHN CARTER OF MARS. I might even die before I see one of those two :0

    ReplyDelete
  33. I'm with you with IMMORTALS, Dezzy... they're really torturing us how long they make us wait for it! :(

    ReplyDelete
  34. yes, we might become immortals ourselves before it comes out :(

    ReplyDelete
  35. @Dezmond: you're right, but then what's the purpose of the show? I know we need to wait and see, but it's clear the producers (or whoever made the trailer) didn't bother to show some new aspect, they just showed what people wanted to see.

    ReplyDelete
  36. WW is definately heating up, and love the new look and poster for Conan. But Camelot is the one I am definately looking forward too more, a good cast and decent plot, just hope it pans out that way on film.

    ReplyDelete
  37. well, as far as I've heard, Dempsey, you can already watch the first episode of CAMELOT over at STARZ site, so you can check yourself whether you will like it or not. I can't wait for the whole show to start.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Wow. When I saw Camelot, I was thinking they were remaking the Richard Harris musical. Um, no. lol
