DeleteSURPRISE!!!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS, DEZZY!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBIG HUGS FROM SNOWY CHICAGO!!!
Who is this hunky hunk visiting my place after hundred years?
DeleteI help cats in freezing poverty. It's a start :) I hope your Christmas eve was a lovely one.
ReplyDeleteI know you do, and that's lovely from you, sister! I gave my own cats a bigger portion of food today :)
DeleteDo you ever wrap up little treats for the holidays for your cats?
ReplyDeleteOf course not, I'm not a crazy cat man :) My cats live outside, they're yard animals.
DeleteHow many yard animals do you have?
DeleteI make homemade dog bakes for the puppies. So much flippin' fun.
Tow cats, Lutzbehar, the girl, and Nyatzyshah, the boy. He is pure ebil, she is pure goodness :)
DeleteAnd a couple of frogs too....
Merry Christmas, Dezzy. Spread the love!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Debs, you too!
DeleteMerry Christmas, Dezzy. Now I'm crying. Beautiful post! xo
ReplyDeleteThanks
DeleteI'm sure most people are surrounded by wrapping paper from gifts torn open in a greedy hurry to see what bright new shiny thing they got. They will measure their worth by how much money they spent on pressies and drown in abundance with nary a thought for those less fortunate.
ReplyDeleteYes, darling, and if they got a black iphone instead of a white one, they will get positively mad. At the same time some kid in a poor country is eating a handful of rice a day and has no clothes to wear...
DeleteI share your sadness, dear, you know that I don't have a family and that I understand how this part of the year can be tough for the unfortunate ones.
Merry Christmas, Dezzy. Couldn't imagine a better message for today. Remember to be kind. :))
ReplyDeleteThat's the message on these festive days which most people see only as eating and shopping fest
DeleteA great post for a great blog Dezmond...I appreciate, and I wish a Merry Christmas to you, your family and all the people you mentionned...
ReplyDeleteThanks, Phil, glad you got the message of the post :)
DeleteMerry Christmas for all the people of the Earth !
ReplyDeleteIt's supposed to be a day of freedom and peace and friendship and mutual help... perhaps we can try to not forget that the 364 other days of the year ...
That last part of your sentence is the key message, Sam Wise!
DeleteWhat heart touching photos. Merry Christmas, dear Dez.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, Sandra
DeleteDez, sending holiday wishes to you. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Masy! Same to you!
DeleteIt does make you realize some people don't get a good Christmas. My co-worker said he hasn't gotten presents in years (parents medical bills), even some younger kids in 1st world countries get nothing or next to nothing due to either rotten parents or lack of money.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Dezz
I can relate :) I haven't gotten anything for Christmas for years either :) But I'm not complaining, because when you see kids who have nothing to eat who really cares about not getting Xmas presents
DeleteYou've hit the nail right on the head, Dezzy. That is indeed what Christmas 'should' be about.
ReplyDeleteWhatever you do on Christmas Day, may you be surrounded by your loved ones, happy and warm. Can't get better than that!
Love from Middle Earth xo :)
Hope you had a nice one, Wendy, and hope all the people in Middle Earth had nice holidays
DeleteAbsolutely wonderful post today Dezzy! My favorite Christmas post I've seen today. Thank you for the reminder on what the season is really about!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'm always the one to give thoughtful posts on holidays :)
Deletethank you... for all that you do and reminding us to keep it real.
ReplyDeletebe welcome, Jeremy, thanks for appreciating our work!
