Your main treat for today, I'm sure you've already seen it, is the brand new trailer for ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY which arrived earlier today after a couple of previous teasers revealing everybody's favourite villain Darth Vader. The spin off of the popular sf saga should land into theatres December 16th!

follows the Rebels who are trying to get their hands on the plans for the Empire's infamous Death Star. Felicity Jones plays Jyn Erso who leads the mission accompanied by a wayward band of
Rebels who are trying to secure the plans so that the Rebel
Alliance can destroy the Empire's new, deadly weapon, an armoured space
station with enough power to destroy an entire planet. Diego Luna,
Donnie 
Yen, Riz Ahmed are some of the stars playing the Rebels. Mads
Mikkelsen plays Jyn's father, who helped building the Death Star.

Your second trailer for today is for Robert Zemeckis' WW2 thriller which hits theatres this November. In ALLIED Brad Pitt plays a U.S. intelligence officer, who teams up (in a fake marriage) with French 
Resistance fighter played by Marion Cotillard on a mission to kill a German ambassador – in Casablanca, to be later on reunited in London!

Allied looks very good! I love anything to do with WW2.

DeleteYou know I'm not interested in Star Wars dahlink, so I've nothing to say about that.
ReplyDeleteAllied could be good, but I really can't stand Brad Pitt. He and that creature he's married are so freaky and I don't believe they are the "humanitarians" they pretend to be.
I agree that ALLIED would probably have more depth without Pitt... he's not always a bad actor, but he brings glamour to his roles when they need something else and thus makes most of his films superficial instead of deep.... I'm not sure he and Marion work well as a couple either. She is just not for me an actress for romantic roles.
DeleteI won't watch any of his movies out of principal. There are some actors I just can't support anymore. Like that Tom Cruise, haven't watched on of his in over a decade.
