HUNKY TRIO ERIC BANA, JACK REYNOR AND THEO JAMES JOIN 'THE SECRET SCRIPTURE' THRILLER WITH ROONEY MARA, JEREMY IRONS AND VANESSA REDGRAVE

THE SECRET SCRIPTURE
ERIC BANA, THEO JAMES, JACK REYNOR JOIN ROONEY MARA AND JEREMY IRONS
Now here's a rather stellar, and also a rather hunky, cast for you: according to the latest news coming from 'Variety' dramatic thriller THE SECRET SCRIPTURE has just added a trio of extreme hunks - Eric Bana, DIVERGENT's Theo James and TRANSFORMERS' Jack Reynor - to the cast which already has Rooney Mara and two acting legends (and privately scandalous parents) Jeremy Irons and Vanessa Redgrave! To be directed by Jim Sheridan (Oscar nominee for MY LEFT FOOT and IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER) THE SECRET SCRIPTURE will actually be a big screen movie adaptation of a Sebastian Barry bestselling novel. The story of the movie follows a woman (Rooney Mara) who keeps a diary of her extended stay at a mental hospital! Eric Bana will play a rebellious doctor who is responsible for reviewing Roseanne’s (Rooney Mara) case, Theo James will, believe it or not, play the local Catholic priest and Jack Reynor will portray a member of the British army and the love interest of Mara's character.

DID YOU KNOW?
Theo James is currently finishing the shooting of DIVERGENT's sequel INSURGENT and will also star in LONDON FIELDS next to Johnny Depp, Jim Sturgess, Jason Isaacs and Billy Bob Thornton. Jack Reynor, who got his fame in $1 billion earning TRANSFORMERS will join Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard in MACBETH, while Eric Bana is starring this summer in DELIVER US FROM EVIL horror pic. Rooney Mara  will go lesbifriendly with Cate Blanchett in CAROL and will then play Tiger Lily in PAN next to Hugh Jackman. Jeremy Irons is preparing to play Alfred the butler in SUPERMAN VS BATMAN DAWN OF JUSTICE.

  1. Rooney will get to kiss our fair Cate. Moi is jealous,

Jim Sheridon is a great director and he's got an excellent cast for The Secret Scripture. The story looks good as well. I think I shall like that one.

    3. glad to hear it, dear! Just don't let Fang hunt down all the lil' birds that come into it.
Summer here has been rather unusual since all summer long we've been having daily torrential storms during which a monthly amount of rain falls down in half an hour.

  2. The Secret Scripture sounds religious, but I only see mention of a Catholic priest. The rest of the plot doesn't sound very religious...

    3. Orlando's role is the worst one in the film, alongside Brad Pitt's and Diana Kruger's.... on the other side, Peter O'Toole, Eric Bana, Brendan Gleeson and Suffron Burrows were outstanding

  4. Jeremy Irons will make a great Alfred.
I can't wait to see Sean Pertwee as Alfred in Gotham.
I am a little biased seeing that his father was the Third Doctor Who!
