So pretty much a crazy movie with crazy characters and crazy visual design :)

FIRST IMAGE FROM ZACK SNYDER'S "SUCKER PUNCH"
You know that Zack Snyder, the director we love so much for his stunning visual and directorial vision seen in "300", "Watchmen", "Legend of the Guardians", is having the premiere of his new movie "Sucker Punch" in March 2011. "Entertaining Weekly" has published the first picture from it and you can see its female cast - Emily Browning as Baby Doll, Jena Malone as Rocket, Vanessa Hudgens as Blondie, Jamie Chung as Amber, Abbie Cornish as Sweetpea and there's also Scott Glenn in the background. Set in the 1960's "Sucker Punch" will follow

March must be Zack's lucky month, he seems to always release his flicks around that time of the year. I haven't been following this one, but looks like this is shaping up to be every fanboy's dream. Where's the eye candy for the gals? :)
ReplyDeleteyep, Flixy, I've noticed that thing about him as well :) There wasn't too much buzz about SUCKER PUNCH since LEGEND OF THE GUARDIANS is such a monumental movie and it took more attention.

ReplyDeleteToo bad Synder didn't have any colors (or colorists) left from his work on Guardians. :))) But I expect this film to look great anyway.
ReplyDeleteI would usually find this kind of ridiculous plot interesting enough to watch said movie, but I'm not too thrilled with this cast (poster). Girls look a little too weak for combat. They don't even look sexy in those "warrior" outfits. But it's Snyder's film. Those are visually interesting. I'll just wait for trailer.
ah, I forgot Bels is not into bluish/grayish colours :)) I think SNyder wanted tender girls in this movies because it will be shocking to see them feisty,angry and crazy.
