BAZ LUHRMANN TO CAST
ISLA JOHNSTON AS JOAN OF ARC
About a year ago I told you that the director of Moulin Rouge Baz Luhrmann is preparing his own take on the famous historical story of Joan of Arc titled JEHANNE D'ARC. According to latest news today, he has
chosen Isla Johnston to play the young French
peasant who believed God had sent her to lead an army. She believed she
would save her country during the Hundred Years’ War. It will be the
ultimate teenage girl coming of age story, set in the Hundred Years’ War
in the 15th century.

Sounds epic and depressing since we know what they do to her. It's kind of like watching the movie Titanic.
ReplyDeleteBut Titanic had a happy ending LOL At least for us who cannot stand Capricosso....
DeleteEso es genial Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteGracias for the beso.
DeleteI dread anything Baz Luhrmann makes.
ReplyDeleteDa only good thing he ever made was Moulin Rouge, he has a knack for terrible casting choices.
DeleteI agree with Donna it's like watching a train wreck. I'd still look even knowing the ending isn't going to be pretty.
ReplyDeleteWell, what did the freaking wench expect?
