DELIGHTFUL NEW TRAILER & POSTER FOR HELEN MIRREN'S 'THE HUNDRED FOOT JOURNEY'! IMELDA STAUNTON, DOMINIC WEST, BILL NIGHY ARE GAY ACTIVISTS IN WONDERFUL 'PRIDE' TRAILER! CHARMING 'BIG HERO 6' DISNEY ANIMATION POSTERS!

THE HUNDRED FOOT JOURNEY
NEW TRAILER AND POSTER
Second trailer and new poster have been released for the most delightful heartwarming movie this year THE HUNDRED FOOT JOURNEY which brings love, food, friendship and inspiration to cinemas August 8th! Directed by brilliant Lasse Hallstrom (SALMON FISHING IN THE YEMEN, CHOCOLAT, DEAR JOHN), produced by Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey, and based on Richard C.Morais bestseller, it follows Hassan Kadam (played by Manish Dayal) and his family who are displaced from their native India. They settle in a small French town with a plan to open an Indian restaurant, but once the ice-queen proprietress of the Michellin starred French restaurant across the street, Madame Mallory (played by Helen Mirren), catches wind of it, she decides to give them some spicy hell.

WONDERFUL 'PRIDE' TRAILER
IMELDA STAUNTON, DOMINIC WEST AND BILL NIGHY
Since we're having a delightful films day here, your second trailer is also extremely adorable: PRIDE is coming to theatres September 12th telling the true story about a group of lesbian and gay activists who join forces with a small mining community in Wales in 1984. As the National Union of Mineworkers are on strike, the activists decide to raise money to support the families affected, but the union will not accept their offerings. The fund-raisers decide to go straight to the miners and strike up an unlikely partnership as both sides fight for the same cause. The outstanding cast includes Dominic West, Bill Nighy and our most beloved Imelda Staunton!

DISNEY'S BIG HERO 6
NEW CHARACTER POSTERS!
And here's something equally delightful and something the kids will like - charming character posters for Disney's new animated movie BIG HERO 6 which will arrive into cinemas this November based on a Marvel comic book and with  T.J. Miller, Jamie Chung and Maya Rudolph lending their voices. From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes BIG HERO 6, an action comedy adventure about brilliant robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who finds himself in the grips of a criminal plot that threatens to destroy the fast-paced, high-tech city of San Fransokyo. With the help of his closest companion - a robot named Baymax - Hiro joins forces with a reluctant team of first-time crime fighters on a mission to save their city. As you can see on the  posters from Hiro Hamada, Baymax, Gogo Tomago, Honey Lemon, Wasabi No-Ginger and Fredzilla, all of the characters have rather unique names :)

  2. Ooo everything today looks good! The trailer for The Hundred Foot Journey was hysterical. That's going to be so funny and with our Helen in it, a joy to see.

I want to see Pride as well. So many mining communities were destroyed by that horrid Iron Lady (may she rest in Hell). Seeing two groups of people who are the underdogs stand together should be uplifting.

Sorry to hear you are going through a rough phase lately darling. I'm doing fine and even got out into the yard yesterday to do battle against the wretched Japanese Beetles that come to eat my roses.

I'm deeply in love with both HUNDRED FOOT JOURNEY and PRIDE, both seem like movies we will adore forever.

So glad to hear you're recovering, dahlink! Hope Fang is watching you closely in the yard...

    2. Kitty Fang must be worried about me as she brought me a bird, 2 squirrels, a bunny and 3 mice yesterday. Either that or my kitty has turned into a serial killer :0)

    3. oh, my, wasn't she a busy bee, yesterday? :)
Hope those were some ebil mice and birds, not some moma and papa birds and mice :(
My Nyatza mostly hunts for bugs, we have some really big ones hiding in holes in the soil and he likes to dig them out and eat them during summer

    1. LOL isn't it just hilarious in the most delightful of ways? :) We actually had, here in my country, a movie of the same title about a macho bully homophobic sports fan who, for the love of his girlfriend, becomes a protector of her gay friends and helps them get to the gay pride parade :)
