COUNSELS
BBC ANNOUNCES NEW LEGAL SERIES
BBC has announced new eight part legal TV series COUNSELS that will arrive sometime at the beginning of next year. Brandon Grace, Ro Kumar, Eilidh Park and George Prentice will lead the cast alonsgide our dear
Laura Haddock and Derek Riddell. The series will follow the lives of a group of twenty-something lawyers in Glasgow in the crucial moment when a few years out of university their careers finally become serious. Working
across the legal landscape, whether as public prosecutors, slick representatives of glossier commercial interests or the shabby and good-hearted last resort of those with nothing left to lose, each one of them is out to win. They are
colleagues jostling for promotion, lovers trying to hold onto one another as ambitions accelerate and pure adversaries professionally and personally. And now’s the time things are going to catch fire.

Let us see whether I can find enough time to catch up with all your recommendations. Legal dramas are not really my thing anymore. I watched so many at one point that I ended up bored and almost claustrophobic from all those offices and courtrooms. Counsels may have a chance if Glasgow is allowed onto the screen and they occasionally let these poor lawyers breathe some fresh air. For now, I will add it to the case file, although your recommendations are already creating a serious backlog.
ReplyDeleteA big hug, with no legal fees attached.
I don't watch much legal drama either, I think The Twelve, with late Sam O'Neal, was the last one I followed.
DeleteReturning the hug.
Hanno sempre riscosso un notevole successo le serie relative a cast di avvocati, impegnati a risolvere cause importanti e di rilievo.
ReplyDeleteBuona giornata
Buona giornata, Silvia
DeleteSounds like something we would enjoy watching too. I just hope they don't speak with strong Scottish accent.
ReplyDeleteThat would be hell to understand.
DeleteI never got into legal or crime dramas, except Bones was pretty good. I enjoyed the science behind many of those episodes. I might still give this one a try though.
ReplyDeleteI have only ever watched LA LAW as a kid.
