THE FIFTH WAVE
ALIENS INVADE IN WAVES

NICK ROBINSON JOINS THE CAST
Always likeable and dear Nick Robinson from MELISSA AND JOEY sitcom,
plays a boy named Zombie, who Cassie previously had a crush on in
school, but is now a ruthless paramilitary leader with numerous alien
kills under his belt. Nick Robinson was critically praised last year for
his role in heartwarming THE KINGS OF SUMMER and you will also watch
him in JURASSIC WORLD which is currently shooting bringing dinosaurs
back to cinemas.

A.G. RIDDLE'S ATLANTIS
GETS BIG SCREEN ADAPTATION
Speaking of science fiction, another of the books from that genre to
be turned into a movie is ATLANTIS novels series by A.G. Riddle which
was just acquired for adaptation by CBS Films. These self published
books have been a huge success for the author dominating Amazon charts
for two years now. In THE ATLANTIS GENE, THE ATLANTIS PLAGUE and THE
ATLANTIS WORLD, the plot revolves around a brilliant geneticist and an
international counter terrorism agent who team to thwart a global
pandemic and solve the greatest mystery of all time: the truth behind
the origins of humanity!

JENNY HAN'S BESTSELLER
'TO ALL THE BOYS I'VE LOVED BEFORE' GETS A MOVIE

It's neat to see a self published novel that topped the charts at Amazon being made into a film. This should give authors without publishing houses a great deal of hope for their own futures. I've not read the books, but I wish the writer the best of success.
ReplyDeleteHow are you doing darling?
It's really cool for the author... imagine scoring a success without a publishing house or agents....
DeleteI've been in a bad phase for a long time now, dear, hope you're feeling better and healing fast? I'm so worried about you.
It will be interesting to see how the movies compare to the books. These all look they should be good movies.
ReplyDeletewe do like it when they do book adaptations!
DeleteI've been meaning to read that Jenny Han book...now I'm going to have to step it up! I wonder what happened to 13 Reasons Why. It was an awesome book and supposedly being made into a movie starring Selena Gomez. I've heard no more about it.
ReplyDeleteIt does sound fun and heartwarming, and epistolary novels are always interesting
Deletenever heard of those books
ReplyDeletehush, somebody will hear you...
DeleteI sure hope it's better than the Fifth Element....
ReplyDeletethe Element was such a wonderfully trashy event.... If it didn't have the Mila element it would've been more digestible...
DeleteI just read The 5th Wave and really liked it. Chloe Moretz is a great choice for Cassie. I'm looking forward to this one!
ReplyDeleteYou did? Was it nice?
DeleteI haven't heard of these books. I may have to reserve some Jenny Han books at the library soon. Would probably make for some good lazy day beach reading.
ReplyDeletethey do sound relaxing and light
DeleteHey Dezzy. Just popped in to say Happy New Week.
ReplyDeletesame to you, Ivy! It started annoying for me, because I went to the pharmacist to discover that there is a shortage of my essential multivitamin pills :(
DeleteOh no, I am sorry to hear this.
DeleteWill you be able to order them online?
we don't really have online pharmacies here.... nor many other online shops LOL
DeleteSorry to hear about that, Dezzy.
DeleteHaven't heard of any of those books, but might give The Fifth Wave a try.
ReplyDeletecould be a fun read
Deleteso keep writing people, someday... the hollywood nut-nuts will see beyond the remakes and the sequels.
ReplyDeleteand all writers will get their own films LOL
DeleteThe girls in my class always love Jenny Han's work - great author!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read the other books - but they're going on my To Be Read list! Hope the movies all turn out well! :)
Fingers crossed, Jemi, if they really get into production
DeleteTo All the Boys I've Loved Before definitely sounds like a chic flick. Now I want to know how those letters ended up getting mailed, and how it all works out.
