GEORGE WASHINGTON IN 'SONS OF LIBERTY' HISTORICAL SERIES
TV news for you today, people, starting with hunky TERRA NOVA star Jason O'Mara who has just joined the cast of historical mini series SONS OF LIBERTY in which he will play George Washington! I've told you recently that History's six part series will chronicle the American Revolution from the Boston Tea Party to the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Set to play the army general who later on becomes the president of USA, O'Mara joins Dean Norris as Benjamin Franklin, Ben Barnes as Sam Adams, Henry Thomas as John Adams, Marton Csokas as general Gage, and Rafe Spall as John Hancock!
'Z NATION' ZOMBIE SHOW
CAST HAS BEEN REVEALED!
The worldwide success of THE WALKING DEAD zombie show has influenced
the trend of other apocalyptic series of that kind, and I have informed
you before that SyFy is preparing their own zombie show Z NATION and now
the cast for the new drama has been announced! To start airing later
this Autumn the 13 episode series depicts the epic struggle to save
humanity after a zombie apocalypse. Three years have passed since the
zombie virus has gutted the country, and a team of everyday heroes must
transport the only known survivor of the plague from New York to
California, where the last functioning viral lab waits for his blood.
Although the antibodies he carries are the world’s last, best hope for a
vaccine, he hides a dark secret that threatens them all. With
humankind’s survival at stake, the ragtag band embarks on a journey of
survival across three thousand miles of rusted-out post apocalyptic
America. Harold Perrineau (OZ, LOST) will play Hammond, the leader of
the group headed west! Tom
Everett Scott is Garnett, his
second in command, while DJ Qualls plays the role of Citizen Z, a
computer hacker who joins the team and helps them navigate the
zombie infested terrain. TWILIGHT's Michael Welch and Kellita Smith are
two disparate wanderers drawn 
to the team – and to each other – by a
shared goal: survival. The ensemble also includes Anastasia Baranova
(The Darkness II), Russell Hodgkinson (Big Fish) and Keith Allan (Rise
Of The Zombies)!
