BEN FOSTER IS A
SORCERER IN 'WARCRAFT' MOVIE
One of the interesting movie news that marked this weekend was definitely about Ben Foster revealing some details on the character he plays in the 2016 upcoming epic fantasy adventure WARCRAFT! We already knew that the cast of the big screen movie adaptation of the famous video game will include, beside Ben, Anson Mount, Travis Fimmel, Colin Farrell, Anton Yelchin, Paula Paton, Toby Kebbell and Dominic Cooper, but we don't know which characters they'll play in the story set in a rich fantasy universe in which the epic conflict is lead between the opposing forces of the Horde and the Alliance. Ben Foster now reveals that he will play sorcerer Medivh the last Guardian of Tirisfal, an ancient line of protectors bestowed with great powers, who opens the Dark Portal allowing the destruction to begin.
JONATHAN KELTZ BECOMES
A REGULAR IN 'REIGN' EPIC SHOW
When it comes to television, good news come from CW where always charming Jonathan Keltz has been promoted into a regular cast member of their REIGN historical drama! In the second season of the popular show about Mary Queen of Scots he will continue playing always faithful and devoted Leith, who went from being a kitchen servant (which is why he was rejected by Mary's lady in waiting Greer) to prince Francis' trusted friend and a rich landowner who will now, in a strange twist of fate, find love in the daughter of Greer's new nobleman husband!
HISTORY TO MAKE 'KNIGHTS TEMPLAR' EPIC MINI SERIES
Speaking of historical series, History will develop new historical mini series. After VIKINGS and BONNIE AND CLYDE they will now make a four episode live action event series on KNIGHTS TEMPLAR! Tracking the origins of the mystic medieval Christian order known as Knights Templar it will be written by Oscar nominated scribe Keir Pearson (HOTEL RWANDA)! It will follow the true story of three brothers, all knights, during the first Crusade, as they make the long journey through the Holy Lands to recapture Jerusalem, ultimately bringing rise to the Knights Templar. Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, famous for producing Oscar ceremonies, will produce the series.

Happy Sunday, Dez. I'd like to see Warcraft and the Templar series. Thanks for the heads up.
ReplyDeletethanks, Sandra, hope your family is doing better!
DeleteKnights Templar is looking great...at least the picture! Waiting for this one, the first Crusade is a nice idea...
ReplyDeleteBest,
Phil.
that's just a random picture I've chosen to illustrate it, Phil :)
DeleteKnights Templar series looks intriguing.
ReplyDeletecan't wait for the casting news on it
DeleteHey Dez - Stopped in to see what's for lunch? We had blueberry waffles.
ReplyDeletethat sounds nice! I had nothing.
DeleteHistory Channel is really going after the dramas. Not complaining, as I enjoy them very much. I know you weren't watching anymore, but the second season of Vikings was even better than the first.
ReplyDeleteyep, I haven't watched VIKINGS, nor BONNY AND CLYDE ...I've never understood the obsession with the criminals and their glorification... it's abominable.
DeleteTemplar looks like some serious drama!
ReplyDeleteshould be very epic
DeleteI don't think many people know much about Knights Templar outside of the uniforms.
ReplyDeletehere in Europe everybody knows about them... everybody who went to school.....
DeleteDefinitely interesting that they're tackling the topic of the Knights Templar. That sounds like something that should be required viewing for everyone.
ReplyDeletehope they get a great casting! Historical shows and series usually introduce us to great new faces
DeleteI need to catch Reign. I have a Facebook friend who is always posting about how great it is.
ReplyDeleteit's a rather teensy affair :) and historically almost ridiculous, but there is something fun in it, and tones of hot people in it, so I watched the whole season regularly :)
DeleteWell, as long as their are hot people, who needs a historically correct show? lol
Deleteexactly!
DeleteThe history of the Knights Templar is so rich, violent and strange that it will make a good miniseries!
ReplyDeleteit will sure be epic!
DeleteSo you're saying we can blame Ben for all the trouble in Azeroth... ;)
ReplyDeletepretty much... for that and for many wet dreams....
Deletegiggle...
Delete:)
Deleteawesome! let's hear it for fantasy of the epic sort! looking forward to all three of these!
ReplyDeletehopefully WARCRAFT will be our new HOBBIT meets STAR WARS :)
DeleteI hope they do a good job with Warcraft movie. The family's been fans of that game for many years.
ReplyDeletefingers crossed!
DeleteBen Foster, damn good actor!
ReplyDeletewe do like him
